I don't consider it bad, but would need a bit of work to get it going again. Front bar is gone (oh the altia bar, can never do without it, my car will never be the same without one), both lights minor cracked but housing is damaged, rad gone, bonnet gone, reo bar gone, rad support gone, clutch fan gone (one fin bent/stuck in rad, otherwise good). Motor and everything beyond the fan is fine.

A icecream truck with my name on it. But fuaaaaaark. I'm so gutted. Analed a taxi (his fault) recently and just missed out on the pie cruise, now this, just when I was about to leave my cave and meet new species.
-
As a matter of fact, I recently got into an accident and a claim has just been lodged and pending. I'm covered as a non-frequent driver or whatever they call it.
-
if its not bad, why don't you DIY? go to your local wrecker and find the fenders, bar and bits you need. It might work out to be cheaper that way. I recently had an accident as well likewise analing someone (his fault really, technicalities aren't in my favour though). also if the other guy is happy, you can DIY his too. the taxi i ran into quoted me 2k for repairs. only need to buy a rear bar and a fibreglass cover and bolt in.

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM. I wonder what type of light goes in there. Perhaps T20 bulb for the brake light seeing as there is 3 cables going into the plug? Maybe I would figure what the thing would be called where something plugs into something. Oh that's right, a socket! But wait. Combine the bulb size with socket, what do you get? T20 Socket! After extensive seconds of reseach....... http://www.ebay.com....=item4aaa307a9d $1.59 + free postage from HK. Should be with you in about 2 weeks time. You're very welcome Or you could go to Supercheap auto and see if they have it. or your local wreckers. they are widely used mate.

I would imagine they are probably still in the manufacturing factory and perhaps at the packing stage or maybe a few more CF bits to be made up. -
Excuse me? I believe this very forum itself is built around on asian cars and in which 99% of all cars in this forum has been driven by an asian once Soon one day, it will become inevitable that on either side of this emoticon, it will be an asian

Hey guys, In need of a new front bar and I cannot seem to part ways with my beloved nismo/altia/aero front bar. That feeling I get when I drive near glass panels and it reflects my front bar Had it damaged recently and have never been so devastated SO. I'm in the market for a new bar nismo/altia/aero bar. Would anyone happen to have one lying around? or would someone know where to get it from in Australia or most preferably brand new in Japan? I'm more than happy to fork out the cash since it looks to be an insurance job so they will pay the smash repairer to get it. I'm also open for trades, if you have that bar and want to get something else, I'll shell out the cash for the bar you want in return for yours If anyone has the part number of it as well, it would be a great help since I can search it up on Amayama

How much did yours cost? Mine only costed around $35 I think. I thought that was quite cheap and got 2. By the way, your FS link in your sig does not work
-
Comprehensive for my R34 would have costed me $6.5k with NRMA for 21 y/o and fresh red Ps. Excess would be $2400. Cars regoed under my dad as well as insurance which ended up to cost $1.4k. I say rego under your dads name or someone who would do it for you, who is over the age of 25 and have had 5 years on their license with no previous accidents. Recently got into an accident and I'm gutted for $2.4k (still in process to prove that its not my fault).

My only proof would be when I requested his license, he was unable to produce but he wrote down on a piece of paper his details. But on the paper it does not have his license number. I called him afterwards and got his license number which was written down on the same piece of paper, but in a different colored pen to show that it was provided at a different time and recorded by myself. Apprentice wages forces me to do some Google and self taught law Unless theres someone here that would do some charity work and help out a fellow SAU member? That act covers VIC only. NSW is Road Rules 2008. But yes that's what it states as well, no mention of license. But since the car IS a taxi, I've read somewhere that they have an obligation to provide a copy of insurance in an accident. I know it's not an arguable factor to determine that he is at fault. I'm trying to find out each and every little needle in a haystack where I could use against him. He has nothing against me but technicalities. Also I've been told by someone who's been in a messy situation before, that the driver of the car in front that his words are less reliable based on the fact that his eyes would be facing forward, whilst the accident is behind him and the fact that he could create a simple story and blame fault on the driver behind with technicalities backing up the driver in front.

Just found it in the same legislation, posting for future reference if anyone needs: Road Rules 2008, Part 18, Division 1, Rule 287, Clause 4: It does not state any license numbers or must produce license for detail verification purposes. I hope to be corrected but it looks like it's back to square one for me.

Yeah the details match. a quick google map and streetview search revealed his car (a taxi) is parked in the driveway at address that he gave me (I was surprised ). His number checks out since ive contacted him a few times and he brought his car over today to discuss a few matters with me. Also lodged a police report and the operator from PAL said that his details had matched, but she could not read back to me due to privacy reasons. He hasn't given me any reason to doubt the details he has provided and the guy is cooperating with me, but is still laying blame on me. Not going down without a fight! even if its a couple of points off his license, at least it will sting him for a good 3 years. and once I did go for a drive and left my wallet at home when I was on my L's haha

When I went into their showroom, it was Ferrari, ferrari ferrari, GTR, GTR, GTR, GTR, lambo, lambo, lambo, ferrari, maserati, evo.
-
yeah i was in shock at the time and the fact that it's my first accident, i didn't know how to handle it properly but common sense. the driver wrote his details down for me and everything checks out, police report already made but just need a legal extract regarding not providing a form of official ID.
-
hey guys, I've been involved in a minor accident recently and I was just wondering, is it a legal obligation to provide a drivers license when asked by the other party during an accident? When he asked for mine, I gave it to him to record my details down but when I asked him for his details, he could not produce his license for me to inspect and record. I'm currently writing a accident report and I'm including some extracts of the Road Rules 2008 within it. The driver claims to not have his license at the time of the accident but gave me his details in good faith. I'm trying to build up my defence because if I don't, it would be my fault based on technicalities. I want to find a legislative extract that covers both scenarios of the following: IF the driver was telling the truth and did not have the license at the time of the accident, he should have not been driving as outlined in Road Rules 2008, Part 18, Division 1, 300-5. IF the driver was not telling the truth and refused to produce his license at the time of accident, it would render that rule inapplicable and therefore leave me back in square one. If anyone knows if it is a legal obligation and can find the extract in relevant legislation, please do link me or tell me where I can find it. The driver is blaming it on me as well based on technicalities so I need this to corner him.

Question In Regards To Buying A Car With Finance On It.
xntrq replied to Longz's topic in New South Wales
This. Pay amount owed to the financial institution and get a written letter on their letterhead to confirm that payment has been made. Pay the guy the difference and get him to sign a peice of paper to state that he accept full responsibility for the finance and that the difference has been paid. Not all entirely true. If you have signed written evidence from the financial institution, it will be fine. Only if in the event where your mate gives him the full ammount for the car, and the seller doesn't pay a cent to the financial institution, then you will have a major problem. This is exactly what my mate did when he bought a 370z. Had all paperwork and evidence to show the exact amount owed against the selling amount. Paid both parties and had everything sorted smoothly. The seller of the car only received $250 LOL. -
Apologies for the no-show. got into an accident last week and forgot to mention in this thread. I intended to meet up with SiNNO first before hand but had notified him that I wouldn't able to make it.

Sorry mate, no guards for it.

TSI (top secret imports) has a great reputation.hey import gtrs, lambos, ferraris etc. visited their show room and was very impressed. you could also try master cars, they are just 5 seconds away from TSI. but mainly gtrs in stock at TSI. Give them a call. If not just buy through car sales.
