  1. Like the front end in my sig? I go on parra road every day to work and home. Were you on parra road on sunday? late in the arvo about 4pm ish?
  2. I'd keep yours as original as possible!
  3. Title says, Looking for boot board and boot carpet. Not looking for trims, but would be interested in the trim clips. List what you got and what you want. I'm in Fairfield West 2165 and can pick up local areas.
  4. Changing a cluster isn't hard at all, not for my 34 anyways. Here's a link for your 33: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/315008-how-to-remove-dash-surround-climate-control-head-unit-cluster/page__p__5790317__hl__how%20to%20remove%20dash%20cluster__fromsearch__1#entry5790317
  5. Point taken into account. Will buy kit first and then see if I'll go DIY or not. All comes down to if it looks easy and if it looks familiar to me or not.
  6. Yeah I've got soldering irons, heatshrinks etc. I've got a bit of electrical background since I was a techie, but other than wiring, any hard drilling work required? Like drilling metal panels etc. Plastics, trims and firewall is fine for me. What is the main issue of people having their car stalling in mid road?
  7. So I received my replacement fusebox sticker that translate into English today. Just wanted to show some of you guys who are still sporting the stock sticker. Sticker Translated Original Panel sticker Using a hair dryer, I got the original sticker off nice and easily. Came off quite clean, no left over sticky residue. The job finished. Anyone interested in getting this sticker, you can pick it up from Street FX or their eBay store here for $7: http://www.ebay.com....984.m1497.l2649 They've got all sorts of translated fusebox stickers including R32, R33, Stagea, S14, S15, 200SX etc. No I don't work for them or this is a sponsored post. Just happy with the product
  8. Hey guys, I'm looking to do an upgrade for my security system. Price for the unit itself compared to price including installation is significant enough to drive me to DIY. I was just wondering if anyone else has installed their own security system and just want a bit of feedback. Is it easy? Approx. time taken? Any pointers, do's and don't do's? Any feedback would be appreciated! Except for "Save up some cash, get a pro to install it". I'm asian, nuff said
  9. Sure man, but its a little bit of a drive to pick up for a bottle of coolant!
  10. Dori, PM me payment details! I think hes gone AWOL for a bit.
  11. Stock GTR kit it is
  12. The 400R kit or this: Not a fan of anything before R34's but gotta say every time I see a 33 GTR with that kit, my head rolls.
  13. Dark Grey or Black R33, gave a wave and a nod was received Yellow R34 with High wing stands and I think GTR wing. Both on Parramatta Rd at about 4.30 or 5ish heading onto M4. Got gated by a slower driver and was left out
  14. Is the wires exposed to the tyre? Just curious to what you are trying to do as I don't see any wire looms near my tyres.
  15. Best to ask your local Nissan dealer first before you fork out on what not for shipping costs from japan. I'd be surprised to see if they actually have cabin/pollen filters for my 34 since they seem to be nearly impossible to get around here. I was very new to this about 2-3 months ago. SAU's been a great learning tool. Just remember, as many say "USE THE SEARCH" before posting.
  16. Not too sure about your location, but I'm confident that you'll be fine. Worse comes to worse and you can't find anything around your area, you'll be able to get it shipped there.
  17. Came with the car But the value of these genuine kits I guess would be at least $1200+. Some people sell just the front bar on here for a good $800.
  18. Given the fact it is a 10+ year old car, some are readily available and some arent. You may find some people who stocks bits and peices like radiators, fuel caps, oil caps, rad caps and other little things. Performance parts are generally OK in terms of supply. eBay has alot of non-performance parts for skylines, performance shops like www.justjap.com, JDM Yard and other Japanese Performance Parts (you can google that) should have stock since people track their skylines and will be in need of replacing certain parts, which creates a market for it. For things like Genuine Nismo body kits like my one in my sig, may be harder to source, new anyway. Interior trims and panels, electricals and body parts are available every now and then from here on the for sale section of the forum or you can pick something up at your local Jap car wreckers. I've replaced a few bits and pieces where no one would have, hop over to a wrecker that specializes in Skylines around my area, dudes got everything. I haven't had any issues finding anything so far. Just got to know where to find it from. Justjap and JDM Yard are Syd stores so it may also depend on whats available locally for you. Wheels, don't think I need to cover this.
  19. Bump. OK so I got my rego papers. I have to do an inspection Out of curiosity, what things does mechanics look for at the eSaftey check places?
  20. White 33 GTR on Hamilton road about 7.45pm.
  21. Perhaps visit the place? They seem to be a warehouse open to public (because they list their address publicly). I'm going to grab some maybe in a few weeks. If you haven't got it by then, will let you know how I go.
  22. They sell loads of reps. I was going to get these Recaro ones until they gave me shipping cost of $400+ due to size and weight via air freight. Sea freight would be cheaper, but once it lands, it would cost more to get it cleared at seaports. With a bit of search on eBay, I came across JTM Auto. http://www.jtm-auto.com.au There landed reps from China I would say. Some of them are even ADR approved. Based in Auburn.
  23. Silver 33 green plates around wollongong somewhere. I was stopped on the side fiddling with my GPS when a Wild Silver 33 Appeared and gave the thumbs up!
  24. Fake is shit. Get genuine. Says I who is saving up for some ROTA.
