This is obviously someone whos never built and engine, and dosnt know how much stress,time, blood,sweat & money goes into it. Good luck with the sale , it truly is a beautiful car. Im going for a veryyyy similar build with a diff turbo. -

Hey , thanks for the reply . How can i test these things out? Because i grabbed each side and gave it a pretty good shaking i couldnt really see any movement or feel anything . Should i get it up on a hoist/jack and try it? Or is it worth just buying a new bar. Cheers -
Hey guys, I've tried searching the internet for some problems I'm having with my R32 GTR, I'm sort of new and still learning alot of things go easy haha. Ive laid underneath my car and i can see the hicas lockbar all hooked, However if i take a corner hard , not so hard that im throwing the weightt of the car around it, But more like taking it fast with a little bit of angle which a gtr should manage .. The back end seems to kick out and it sort of feels like its trying to correct the steering .. But the back end just ends up kicking out a little bit . Is this normal or should i be checking things? Sorry if this sounds stupid I dont know much about the rest of the system except whats in the engine & bay itself lol. Cheers.

Ah sounds to hard, Cbf ill just buy a 32 Gtr locally, This ones done 126,000 genuine km's has the service book still from japan when it first came out of the factory , Then again a Low Km's 32 GTR that hasnt been rebuilt thrashed crashed rebuilt thrashed blown rebuilt again with the odo wound back is a bit of a miracle these days, Oh well Can only hope for the best . I just thought 32gtr with 126,000km on the clock and the service book from japan was a good buy.

Hey all, I've been searching through . If i remember correctly I found a topic a longgg time ago about good shipping/trucking companys and peoples experiences with them and costs, Basically I've got a few R32's lined up from melbourne i wanna take a look at . And if i like one And decide to buy it I want to get everything sorted and get it over to Perth . I've been reading through some other peoples topics but cant quite make sense of what people are saying theres alot of different things going about and i cant seem to quite understand what the relevant steps are to going over buying the car and bringing it back, At this point I'm led to believe You go over, Look at the car, Buy it, Fill out Change of Ownership forms or whatever they're called, Go to a licensing centre and let them know? Do you have to get it unregistered or anything like that??, Then sort out a really good company that will take care of it when bringing it over, Then Do i need some sort of permit to drive it to the pits when it comes off the truck / ship whatever. Then take it over the pits get it rego'd for Perth and There you have it. If any of this is wrong please feel free to correct me , Or point me in the relevant direction . Thanks again Oh p,s if anyone can spare the link to that topic i mentioned above would be greatly appreciated, I have done some medium research into companys, but its hard to tell how good they are so i thought id ask for some people who have had first hand experiences. Hey guys, I was thinking lately since the engine bay of my 33 still looks pretty stock , Im pretty keen to give it a nice cosmetic makeover, Im currently in the midst of getting a front facing plenum installed , Which will free up some room above the turbo side, Now lately i've been wondering if it would be worth buying an after market high mount manifold and get my low mount converted to high , Ideally I just wanted peoples opinions who have done this before and the rough cost and work needed , Or just your opinion if its worth doing, At this point its just an idea and if i went through with it would be purely for cosmetic reasons only. However I was thinking about replacing my hi flow t3 turbo, with a gt30 and keep it lowmount purely for the reason of getting pulled over, From a few threads i read earlier while searching was that cops dont like the big blingy high mount externally gated shiny things with nice big shiny braided lines running over everywhere. Is it best to keep it looking nice and low and as stock as possible. cheers. p.s. sorry if theres a topic like this already i searched around a few times but couldn't turn up anything

I'm not just interested i'n planting a motor i'n one if u read correctly I said would it be a cheaper option to do so . What would be the best way to go about it. Starting new and dropping an engine i'n importing buying straight-out etc so please read and understand where I'm coming from before coming i'n here and trying to troll thanks. -

Like I said I'll explain it to you for those who can't read I'm new to this stuff . I havnt got a clue on how to buy a car from over east . Who sets up the shipping ?, buyer or seller , do I have to run it over the pits when it gets here I obviously will have to get it licensed for w.a and yes i probably could research but why do that when I could get a more simple and quicker explanation from people who know what they're talking about and have possibly experienced this before -

Hey guys, i currently have a 33 gts im gonna get rid off, but before that i wanna set myself up with a decent supra, ive always loved supras since i saw my first one, I'm just wondering After i sell my car i wanna set myself up with a decent model like i see all these models and i was just wondering how i would go about getting a 2jz-gte bad boy dropped into one ? Is there any sites that could help out, I'm pretty keen to know as i've never been involved with any of this stuff before and i have no idea?. I live in perth atm is there a company anyone knows of that could possibly fit a 2jz-gte into supra body i've looked everywhere but no one is selling a supra with a 2jz already in it. Would it be a cheaper option to start from stock and whatnot? Or whats the best way to go about this. Cheers

Hi i just wanted to find out, MY mates got some 16" rims on his 33, And hes asked me to buy him some sick looking 19's off ebay, But im not sure if you can just throw 19's on what used to have 16s there? Will that work ? I know theres an issue doing that with brembo brakes or something but i've been happy with my 18's and never tried, he dosnt have brembos either Thanks.

hey guys and thanks for the replys. well he didnt really have a bad attitude about it or anything. yknow he was just trying to explain if i didnt wanna go through all the extra money + time without my car that was possibly a cheaper option .. but i think ill stick with gt3076 after i do a dyno run. and hopefully get her nice and tuned up ready to roll @ I0WRB. Thats pretty much the same yea.. good to see it works out alright. cars with high mount look so much more beautiful xD. My stupid intake manifolds piping goes over the top of my engine for some reason . Btw who do i see to get a thicker intake manifold? would a standard mechanic do that? Coz i might ask my tuner see if he can sort it out -

dont think i need a thicker head gasket till i break 500hp i heard the stock internals can handle over 550 .. but considering the Gt3076 i rang up the turbo tuner today and he was sort of talking about a Gt28 Hybrid where they take my old turbo out and machine out the compressor housing or someshit.. and it produces way more torque + hp n u can notice the difference and its much better for street racing apparently he reckons. so ima get my car run over the dyno next friday because he wants to know the power run results.etc etc.. also i dno if a GT3076 would fit because my turbo is low mounted theres not much room if u look at the pictures where the PODs poppin out..But i guess its his job to make it fit right? gotta run new oil + water lines to it aswell.. probly only looking to spend about $3000 at the most anyway.. its $1290 for the turbo itself ..so yehh ill keep u's updated .. Still not sure what the hell my turbo is xD cant get in there close enough to have a look. -

yehh brake horsepower.. umm dont know much about it actually. The guy just said it was a "T3 Hi Flow Turbo.. no idea what type tho .. although it does have a HKS wastegate on it.. but yehh not entirely sure.. im not realyl interested in an engine build at this point.. i just wanna know what i can do to it to get some more horsepower out of it and the only thing i could think of was an bigger turbo something like a GT3076 or something..But im not sure if my engine could handle it.. maybe if i took it to the Turbo mechanics they could check it over or something but yeh. -

no idea havn't ran it on the dyno lately.. but last i heard of it was 380-400 HP
