You are the legend Max.. I would never expect someone from the forum share such detailed knowledge and experience to help others.. salute! I have paid a rear set of the EBC red stuff from eBay and will keep you updated how I go. Thanks again!

Oh no.. was having all my hope on this.. Guess it is common for the performance pads. My Akebono pads are the same and it still stop after few hard foot. I will do more research then. Are your slotted disks better than the original for heat? I also remember you have said your Megan racing muffler sounds amazing in another thread. It is on my list as well. I am following you.. haha.. Thanks for your help Max!!

Max, I have decided to go EBC red stuff! After two months it is still making the noise when cold, time to change. I don't want to change the full set yet as only the rear are having the noise. My front Akebono pads are only two months old. Is it ok to just replace the rear with EBC red stuff? Thanks for your input.

Sorry about the stupid question, how do you know the dust? Can you see it from the disk? Mine is brand new Akebono pads ( not bad reviews), not sure if it is the dust that causes the squeal noise. Normally in the morning it is the worst when reversing, as it goes and warm up, still has the noise but gets better.

How much did you pay? I work in airport and might drop by..

eBay? Thanks Max

Hi guys, Just had brake pads changed and disks machined on my 2007 370GT coupe, and soon I am starting to have the annoying squeal noise at low speed to full stop and reversing particularly. Do you all have the squeal noise? What brake pads would you recommend for good performance and quietness? Any advice is much appreciated. Cheers Leon

Which brand or custom made?

Just looked the bottom., it is one big muffler with two exhaust on each side.. I do see others have two smaller mufflers on each side with exhaust.. Which one is stock?
-
Thanks for sharing this.. If the axle back exhaust sounds bad, possible to change it back to stock?
-
Yes.. stock is dual exhaust.. I am just worried with the exhaust change will make the sound harsh or have too much of the metallic note/noise.
-
Just the muffler or with the dual exhaust? Where did you buy it, overseas or some local shops? Thanks mate

Hi guys, What do you think of just putting on this? Will it make sound better? The stock is boring, however I don't want to make big change or sound too loud. Any suggestions? Cheers Leon

Urgent help please I need a right hand rear camber arm/bolt for 370GT coupe 2007. It just got snapped and the car is not drivable:( Any ideas where can I find the part? Is it the same as 370Z? Thanks

Bought a set from Supercheap Auto this morning.. Not exactly the same but it fits in all right. Thanks for your advice

I am in Sydney.. I will see how I go with my local Nissan dealer on Monday.. Will let you know if I need it off you.. Thanks mate

They are lock nuts.. I wanted to check the brake pads since I don't know any history of the car. The wheels have to be removed to see the brake pads. They didn't have the correct key but forced and damaged the locks. If I knew they can't put it back on I would never ask them.. "just go to Nissan dealer to get few from them" That's all they said.. Very unprofessional..

Hi guys, Where can I find these wheel nuts for V36 370GT? Would any Nissan dealers have these? They are the same as 370Z. Been to a tyre shop this morning, they took off the ones with the lock but couldn't put them on. And they don't have anything similar to put on. Now I am having 4 nuts on each wheel. They said it is safe to drive but I am really concerned. :( Cheers Leon

Advice For Servicing 370gt
snowysea replied to snowysea's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
Thanks guys.. Would you ever consider to take it to Infiniti dealers? Because of the badge, they must charge more than Nissan dealers for the same service. Thoughts?
