havnt heard from him for years, called into his old house recently at Maudsland but he has moved, dont think he even has membership here anymore and no idea where he is now.
there is a 12V signal wire that powers the factory antenna boosters (located with antenna plug), if this was not hooked up then reception would be very poor.
I think it is because the FAST software out there only goes to sometime in 2001, so yours must be a late R34 model. Ive been searching for an updated FAST CD but no luck, maybe try NISSAN, see if they can help ??
you wont be able to adjust any mixtures until you get it dynoed of use a lambda sensor. Ive got a SAFC neo, slightly different menu, from what ive told you thus far it should run as standard, just post the specific qus and ill see if i can help ?
Got my boot struts regassed today, mobile van, $66 total, they were measured at 600 (not sure units, Nm ?) beforehand which wasnt enough to raise the boot, gassed them up to 750, all fine now. top service. http://www.strutregas.com.au/
Im planning on swapping my valve body (stage 1 shift kitted by MV) into another tranny. Does anyone have the instructions from MV Automatics re fitting the valve body they could scan and send to me ? as Ive lost mine.
Also, the 2 welsh plugs that are used to block the 2 middle chambers, are they a standard size ? I could buy locally or do I have to see MV ?
thanks
your vin needs to be 6 digits wgnc34-123456. But they should have been able to find with part #, give them the alternate part # (which is most likely an updated part as the old one wouldnt be used anymore) 96366-4P060. Even try a different Nissan dealer, i never have any problems with my part #s in Brisbane (metro nissan) or Gold Coast Nissan, they are very accomodating for imports.
They are different but the differences should be very minor, different mounting points etc, so any exhaust shop could fit a S2 exhaust to S1 and vice versa with little trouble.
If anyone sends me the occasional M35 screen shot, my Japanese wife has offered to translate them. If you need all the screens translated she could do for a negotiated nominal fee, depending on how many there are.
