Sounds like it is hitting 'rich and retard', plenty of info about this throughout this forum, but basically you probably need to start thinking about, depending on your budget and plans, a minimum AFC (apexi Air fuel controller). This is because since your pod filter was installed the ECU is detecting a larger amount of air entering the engine than normal, via the air flow meter, and is keeping things 'safe' by increasing the fuel and retarding the ignition. Not a great problem, something we all hit once the mods start.

2 screws at bottom, 1 at top, unclip handle surround, remove small plastic coin pocket, passenger door has extra bolt under handle surround. pull trim away and up, unhook wiring...

They rust there because Nissan put foam insulation in there which holds water, after repair my panel beater soaked the foam in rust protectant, not sure why he didnt remove it. Looking at pic, remove inner cover to access fasteners.

probably hard springs so adjustments wont really make much diff.

some kits, eg NOLTEC and looks like pedders, can be adjusted by turning the bolt, which is fixed into the inner sleeve, thus turning the sleeve and thus changing camber. Where the others have the bolt spinning loose inside the hole. hope that explains it ??

Import monster would ship it in a container, not individually, hence the price, which sounds about right. You will be hard pressed getting it cheaper, since the size is the factor here, not weight. Possibly you could contact import monster or slidewize and see if they can ship it for you in their container for a price.

D2R is the bulb type, much cheaper on ebay from US than buying here, stock white bulb colour is around 4500k, higher is bluer, lower is yellower.

boost solenoid is nothing to do with your miss, forget that for now... My personal opinion, platinums...NGK recommends PFR6G-11 for NEOs, PFR5G-11 for S1s. Ive tried iridium, and they only lasted around 30k before they broke down. A set of splitfires would be a good investment as well.

yeah, start with fresh platinum plugs, prob never been changed....then move to coilpacks.

Looking for a definitive answer regarding compatibility of RB stater motors. Are they all the same ? Chasing one for my Neo RB25det, can I use a VL RB30 one ? Last time I replaced mine at wreckers I noticed some have different number of teeth, is this only related to the gearing and not an issue with compatability ? thanks

yes, they generate a lot of heat, even when idling, thats normal.

hi, yes manual versions have those 3 panels in center. re boost, stock boost is around 450mmHg (.6 bar), so just over half of your gauge, assuming the stock gauge is accurate. You would need to attach/borrow a more accurate aftermarket gauge to determine what your boost is doing and whether your boost solenoid is working. They are not fast in standard form, especially with stock exhaust, and compliancer may have put a restrictive cat converter on. So, without a full exhaust system and boost controller for starters it's nothing special performance wise.
