  1. Cant remeber which wire, just behind instrument cluster. When you are ready to install, contact me and ill check it. The Jaycar unit is not the most user-friendly to setup, but no problems since it was installed. Still looking around for a way to correct the speedo either internally/electronically without an add-on box, through reprogrammingl, or even changing the speedo pinion gear.
  2. Antony, reading the BlaZt website, Im not sure if it will correct the speedo display, I think it is just to correct the speed display within the software itself. Hopefully Im wrong, then you could hire it out to just about every Stagea in Oz. http://www.blazt.biz/products/images/datascanpreferences.JPG
  3. I had same, ended up getting a Jaycar speedo corrector device installed, now spot on.
  4. Here are some/all of the badges and stickers for the S1 and S2 Wgnc34's
  5. yes, you can use the paper clip method, bottom left 2, marked in red. Maybe your harness is unclipped and hidden somewhere around the fuse box.
  6. Still for sale $140
  7. depends if yours is a 'cold area' version, operated by the fog lamp switch on the blinker arm, 1 click for front fogs, 2 for front and back lamp, pm me your VIN and Ill let you know. Possibly the non-cold area cars have the clear lens(as above) and the cold areas have red where the rear fog light is. re-checking FAST, the chrome trims have their own part number, so maybe they are available separately from Nissan. Seems the greyed chrome was on the 8/98 to 9/99 models and the chrome was 9/99 onwards.
  8. www.greenline.jp have them listed.
  9. I doubt it would be cutting spark at 0.55bar, I would suggest looking at your coil packs, or possibly spark plugs (has this started since they changed your plugs ?) plug gap ? I had similar thing, changed plugs, all fine. Does it still cut out with all boost OFF, ie ~0.45bar ? also, post this where the skyline boys can read it in maintenance etc, they might have some more ideas...but I wouldnt be trying FCD.
  10. retrieve the ECU error codes, should tell you what's wrong. do a search on how to do this.
  11. looking at the S2 part listings on fast, there are 4 different versions, depending on year and whether your car is a 'cold area' version (hi-vis rear light), which mine is. Dont know where the chrome comes into it. check the tail lights for part numbers and compare to this list.
  12. Yeah, read all that, knew it would involve some fabrication, enjoyed the challenge, had to be done if I wanted to upgrade the rear bar properly, also not that hard when you have access to a workshop as i did. Fits like factory now and has reduced body roll and understeer dramatically.
  13. Yeah, instructions said a direct fit for Toyotas, Stagea S2 pumps may also be Denso, as the pump, plug were almost identical.
  14. ..a few times, simple case of extracting the error codes, by using the pin jumper method behind the coin box. Then looking up which codes you got.
  15. Just installed my new Swaybars into my S2, CUSCO R33 GTR front and rear. Front was straight swap, rear was a big job. Had to make and weld new mounting brackets as the stagea ones are too wide, then had to heat and bend the arms of the bar out 25mm on each side to match the link rods (new nolathane universal links) Handles superbly now, very pleased.
  16. Got the SARD 165L/min from NENGUN, easiest install ever, pump is slightly longer but same diameter, but fitted perfectly into box, also same wiring plug ! Only hiccup was to swap the factory filter sock over. Looked like the pumps were made by same company, no noise, very pleased.
  17. correct, but AV2(called VTR2 I think) will not display unless something is plugged into it, you will probably need the original factory stereo to get a sound from AV1. Most modern head units have the input plug anyway, with far better sound than the clarion unit, and no need for band expanders.
  18. I concur, buy a 2nd hand box for a few hundred, MV shift kit it, get it back into 4wd mode.
  19. Not sure what the differences are but FAST lists the following part #s Skyline R34..........5/98 to 8/00.....26160-40Y00 Skyline R34..........8/00 on............26160-4N000 Stagea WGNC34....9/96 to 7/97.....26160-0V000 Stagea WGNC34....7/97 on............26160-40Y00 looking at this, my guess is they would all be interchangable, prob cosmetic differences.
  20. I put R34 Gtt front and rears on, didnt change MC, have great pedal, dont think it is necessary.
  21. Im after some Whiteline Universal swaybar links, but I need to know how they are measured, eg a "Swaybar link kit 115mm with bushes", does this mean a total length of 115mm or is it measured from the centre of each bush ?
  22. try the stagea section, plenty there about it, cant be changed into english. Satnav cannot be used here TV can be used here using VTR inputs, ie plugging in a tuner box Have factory manual for it, but its in japanese.
  23. to drain it, i usually unhook the return hose and run it into a container whilst engine is running, make sure not to turn off engine as soon as the fluid stops running consistently. No need to bleed it, the air will bubble up to the fluid tank, helped by turning the steering lock to lock a few times whilst running.
