    You would have no chance of making it legal with insurance and RTA etc, even if you could do it.

    No, it is a specialised job, there are only a few places who know what they are doing with the RE401 boxes. If you have the time, get a shop to pull out the valve body, (or better still, find another one), then send it to Mike at MV Automatics in South Australia, tell him what stage you want, he should send it back after a couple of days.

    There are different versions of shift kits available from MV Automatics in SA (stage 1, 1.5 and 2 i believe), I went for the Stage 1, the mildest, prob similar to yours, only feel the changes from 1st to 2nd, others are smooth, but very quick, no more flaring.

    666DAN, thanks, did you swap it for your viscous LSD and use your R34 GTT output shafts ? went straight into the S15 Helical LSD ? the S15 is 30 spline, most pre-R34 skylines are 31 spline i believe, hopefully Nissan kept them uniform for the R34/ S15, thanks

    thanks, Nissan seems to have changed to the 30 spline shafts for the late models, are you sure they are weak, some people seem to say they used the same helical centre in the R34 GTR.

    thanks, that would be easy except that the S15 uses 3x2 bolt, 31mm dia, 30 spline output shaft, stagea is a 5x1 bolt, not sure size yet. guess if i can find a 5x1 bolt, 31mm dia, 30 spline output shaft ill be in business, ill check the wreckers.

    Ive got an S15 R200 Helical LSD, and I would like to put it into my Series 2 Stagea RS four, which has an R200 non-lsd diff. Has anyone had any experiences with transplanting the S15 diff centres ? Im a bit concerned about the output shafts, as ive heard the S15 ones are unique, would it be interchangeable ??? thanks

    I am thinking about buying an R200 R33 viscous diff to put into my S2 Stagea, which doesnt have an LSD, one question, as the ratios are different, can my gears be swapped onto the LSD centre so as to keep my original ratio ? cheers

    wtb: set of front calipers from an R34 GTT (310mm rotor diameter only) in good condition, located in Brisbane, can do COD, pay up to $400 for good condition set.

    Im looking to upgrade my S2 Stagea brakes (2 pot 290mm/ 1 pot 292mm) to R34 Gtt brakes (4 pot 310mm/ 2 pot 297mm) , rotors and calipers, front and back. Does anyone have any tips or advice, also, would i need to worry about the brake bias with such a change ? cheers

    thanks, called him, looks like I didnt hook up the selector valve linkage, but now i have problem of locating another spring, which i have damaged, dont ask how If anyone in Brisbane area has a wrecked automatic transmission, please let me know, thanks

    What a frustrating day, i installed my shift kit, no go, wont engage any gears, but feels like its in drive not matter where the stick is, pulled it out, re-installed it...ahhhh, help me someone, i installed the lightest, thinnest spring on the end one where the black diaphram is, blocked off the middle 2 ports with welsh plugs, what else is there to do ? any photos or advice please.
