Noticed today on the Nissan FAST system that i have 2 Air con air filters located behind the glove box. Pulled them out, pretty filthy. Will order some new ones today, part # B7274-0v525. Not sure if all models have it, mine is a 2001 RS4...worth considering, cheers.

yeah, this is only a nissan thing, if its aftermarket you might be out of luck. is yours a Series2 ? depends on what modifications were made, if keyless entry is still factory system. best to try someone elses keyless key first before buying. Does anyone know which model patrol key works ? the stagea part # is 80600N

sorry, only discovered recently, plenty of info re this on internet.

nissan remotes can be programmed yourself by following some steps, so thats not a prob, of course dealers would never tell you that. Just get in your vech , close all doors. Using your power lock switch , lock all doors. After doors are locked take your Ignition Key and insert it and remove it from ignition switch in a slow fashion , but consitant pace. (97 and earlyer are fast) When you see the hazzard lights flash, put key in ignition switch and turn to the On postion .. Do NOT CRANK or you will have to Start over .. After in the On postion .. Hit the Lock button on remote... Hazzard lights should flash..( note..you have to reprogram all remotes when adding a new one , if you don't your old remotes will not work ) If your doing just the one , turn igntion switch off and unlock door and get out and try it. If you are doing more than one. While still in Vech with Key on . After you hit the Lock button on Remote and hazzard light flashed .. with key still on .. use master lock switch unlock doors and relock and then hit Second Remote, Lights should flash again , repeat if adding a 3rd remote.. after done just turn key off and unlock door and get out and try.

Im after a keyless entry key for my S2 stagea, as in pic, if anyone has one lying around or doesnt use there keyless key, let me know, cheers. i realise ill have to grind key off and use it as keyring...unless someone has a blank...

Thats because you prob dont have HICAS, usually only found on the manuals.

pretty sure the FCID is something to do with the idle speed motor ???

the deicer could be the heater under the front wipers on the front windscreen, or the heaters in the wing mirrors.

plastic, its all one piece too, so replacement includes cable etc. Now just trying to encase the whole cable support in epoxy.

Anyone broken their remote rear seat handle in the boot ? seems pretty fragile for the force required to pull the cable and release the seat. Also, realised today that the rear seat can be laid back for extra comfort, using the handle next to the seat. thought that the rear seats were a little too upright.

Got a HKS dump pipe $280, RS-R stainless front pipe $120..both bought in Japan, hence the price, magic cat, and a Fujitsubo Legalis R catback, $1050 from BT-Revolution in melbourne. Not much louder than standard.

Dayz make bodykit parts etc, my guess is it could be a factory edition with a DAYZ bodykit , also possibly different steering wheel, mags.

im looking at lsd-ing my rear diff in my S2 RS4, probably a Nismo swap. But what is the story with the front diff ? Are all front diffs non-LSD ? do the LSD stageas also have front LSD ? cheers.....and also what is the difference between the NISMO 1.5 and 2.0 LSD diffs, what does this signify ?
