  1. So .... In seven years he/she has gone from a S14, to a Porsche to a Ferrari. .... Not bad!!
  2. Oh no, not the girl in the orange 33 again!! she gets thrashed ..... .... apparently
  3. Thanks mate .... I was just about to go with the green light when I spotted a glimpse of your grill in my side mirror, I looked around enough to see the front of a black Stagea, attempted a feeble wave and left the lights ... Seems like it was all in about 2 seconds.
  4. A grey 33 S1 parked just down the road from the mint ... Looked very stock, straight & clean from what I could see with a quick glance.
  5. Just as a matter of interest how many other 'non typical young-guns' , I.e. over 40's in here?
  6. Was that the car or the chick?
  7. Ok ... My apologies to the lady driving the orange 33, I usually dont miss those basics but come to think of it every time I have spotted it it's been parked. But you are right Shell, it does stand out and it does take a while to get over it.
  8. That orange 33 gets a lot of attention in terms of being spotted .... He could just about start his/her own thread.
  9. Yes I too spotted the yellow wingless 34 in Qbn, fully equipped with 'p' plates and doing his best to attract attention to himself with a little wheel spin between gears ... Nice looking car though. I also copped an eyeful of the black 33 (i think gold wheels) referred to above, it was near the park at the time, looked very nice from where I was ...
  10. Spotted at about 4.40 this afternoon an orange 33, no wing ( ... not sure how many orange ones around with wings ) parked in a small street in Deakin near the The Mint .... PS .. whoever owns the 33 in the pic above, congratulations ...
  11. After working in the media for 20+ years my best advice is ...... Don't do it. Journalists will rarely do the story you want to tell, they will do the story that will be the most sensational regardless Of how many facts get bent, twisted or completely blown apart. There is a simple equation .. News must get ratings, ratings equals viewers/readers/listeners, which equals a demand for advertising which of course equals money .. And that's all that counts. No one will want to watch a story about a bunch of Skyline drivers cruising, sticking to the speed limit and drinking milkshakes, so the journos don't want to know about that stuff. Show the public a story of a group of people that everyone from 9 to 90 should fear, in screaming turbo charged visions of death doing burnouts, now there's an attention getter (even bigger when you chuck in a few P platers) Tread very carefully using journalists to get recognition, think about who or what they are working for first.
  12. Spotted @ 430pm ... posts on this site stating they were made after 5.00pm!!
  13. Yep had a similar problem with my wheels, had them repaired and painted at Wicked Wheels, did a good job. Then I was freekin paranoid and parked a metre from the kerb for the next 6 months!!
  14. On Canberra Ave Fyshwick this afternoon around 5.15 a red 32 with very fat gold wheels, I'm not usually a 'red' car guy especially when it comes to Skylines but this looked ok.
  15. Around 4.30pm today a very straight silver R33 S2 on Canberra Ave going into Qbn, looks a nice car.
  16. Kony 2012 seems to be a good thing, Joseph Kony is one bad asshole, a nice cause.
  17. Cool, always wanted to get passed by a Hyundai iLoad!!
  18. Hi Trozzle, were you behind me in a white van? I did sorta catch something going on out of the corner of my eye ... regardless, thanks for the wave mate.
