Hi guys - just updating this topic - you're right about the 98 gas - totally transformed the stag! I have also been using the Gull 98 with 10% Ethanol with absolutely no problems whatsoever. Have tried tanks of both BP 98 and Gull 98 alongside one another with no apparent difference in performance. Mileage around town is a bit low but out on the motorway and driving down country mileage is around 9.8L/100km.

Hey guys - newbie to the forum but a long time Nissan owner and now fully in love with my 2001 Stagea 250RS FOUR which has the VQ25DD (non-turbo) engine in it. Have been running it on 95 from Shell so far and have heard some "pinking". Used to use Gull E10 in a Subie GTB Twin Turbo I had and it went like the clappers - dying to use E10 in the Stagea but not sure how it will go. I know Nissan doesn't approve of E10, but they also sell CVT transmissions and say they are ok - so what the hell to they know? I thought you guys might be a better source of realtime information - any opinions? Problems? Recommendations? Bruce
