Hey SAU, Looking to trade (Will also sell if price is right) my 1998 white Semi-Auto R34 25GT for a Manual NA R34, Manual NA Supra, Manual NA S15 or let me know what you got. I'm still on my L's (17), so no turbo cars yet unfortunately (Not like you would want to trade one for an NA lol) Reason why I bought an Auto in the first place was because my left leg gets fatigued quickly due to an accident I had, but has gotten a lot better in the past few months thanks to some treatment. So I'm looking to trade if for a Manual car. here's a quick breakdown on the car: - 1998 R34 25GT - White - Semi-Auto - 58K on the ODO - Brand new BC BR Coilovers (Have receipt to prove it (1.3K) - Brand new Koya Drift Teks wrapped in Nitto NT05 tyres (Traveled less than 50km, also have receipt to prove it (2K)) - Brand new Sony front splits and rear speakers (Also have receipts to prove it) - Regularly Serviced - Import Papers + Manual included - Rego until March 2012 - Very clean - Factory XENON headlights - Side mirrors with Indicators (Factory ones included) - Been lowered - 3 keys, 1 with remote, 1 normal key, 1 blank yet to be cut. Any question feel free to ask. I can bring the car back to stock (stock Coilovers and wheels). Located in Bendigo (About 1:50mins from Melbourne) Pics:

I used some double sides tape, hot glue and 4 small self tapping screws for the front, the holes the screws leave are barely even noticeable.

Please, please, please don't. Don't make it something it isn't, especially on a N/A R34 making less than 100kw.

Sorry for not uploading pics yet, I was hoping the Lip from Charles group buy would arrive today. On another note, how do you guys adjust the damper settings with the parcel tray on? I'm thinking of making a hole and putting one of those desk grommets in, Thoughts?

Each to their own. Your not going to get close to the money already spent, so why not just throw another 1K on it and bolt a turbo on. That's just my "plan" I might go a different path, it is after all 5 years from now until i get off my p's.

Yea, as everyone has already said, don't buy either for performance. If you plan on modding it, focus on the braking and handling section, then later down the track drop RB25DET in or do a conversion . That's what i plan to do .

Thanks guys , Damn whoever designed these type of coilovers. Dropped it about 3 or so inches maybe? Wheels sit just below the guards. I'll get pics up tomorrow, just finished it all today. I might need to get some Camber arms all round and a rear sway bar while I'm at it, do the GTT swaybars/camber arms fit the GT?

Ok, got everything installed, I was just wondering, do the springs "settle" I was going to drop the back about 1/2" more, but afraid after they settle it'll be too low and it's sorta a PITA to lower these coilovers, you pretty much have to take the whole thing off.

I was already impressed when the car was getting masked up haha, but when I saw the 1st finished pic, it blew my mind. Great work!

I just did mine before, they are tight, but put some muscle into it and it will come off, use some penetrating oil as well, it will help lots. 17mm deep socket worked the best for me, along with a breaker bar. Good luck! EDIT: Didn't read all the replies are you sure it isn't slipping? Mine felt like they were turning, but turns out it was just the shitty socket. So went to Super cheap and got a decent socket.

Coilovers came today, snapped a few pics, will install them tomorrow and get some pics for you guys.

If you switch it to manual mode, the PRND doesn't light up, instead it shows the gear number it's in below the PRND. I think, never really took notice.

Hey Charles, A bit off topic here, but I was wondering if you had your wind deflectors sprayed or are they after market? I was planning on pulling them off cause the color has gone off, but didn't want to risk breaking them, so I was going to mask the car off and get some black vinyl dye and dye them black.
