  1. Let us know how it goes
  2. Hey, Thanks for the suggestion I'll just go with lower width wheels instead, saves me time and money
  3. Looks similar to Lenso D1R's to me http://www.talebtyre...IR_HYP_1810.jpg EDIT: Yea, they actually do look like the one pistol-pete posted.
  4. Oh, well that's a let down I was hoping as long as you couldn't see the tread from the top it would be fine.
  5. Hey SAU, As above, is it illegal to have your wheels past the guards of your car? I've done some googling, but couldn't get some definite answers. Fro example if the fitment was like this would it be ok?
  6. Must sell! Ordering CR Kai's Tomorrow!
  7. Thanks for the info guys, Will keep you updated Will be ordering my wheels soon, but have a dilemma. Car is white, should I get Gunmetal or Bronze? Just so happens someone on the forums has a R34 with MGM CR Kai's http://i140.photobucket.com/albums/r25/fragmentedperception/Cars/R34%2025GT/Jay-R34-Lowered-091.jpg http://www.workwheelsusa.com/media/gallery/10/150_full.JPG
  8. Hey, Just curious to know where you get your car serviced/Checked? (I live in Bendigo as well) The guy that works at Nissan recommended me to go to McPherson's Service Centre on 18 Sullivan Street, supposedly he gets his R33 serviced there. I have yet to go there yet to get my car serviced as I just bought it and everything was already done, but thought I would let you know
  9. On average how much cheaper would it be ordering through Import Monster or Jesse Streeter? JDM Concept have a set of 18" CR Kai's which is pretty much the perfect size and in stock in Sydney for $2140 shipped. Was thinking of buying those?
  10. Bump, Price drop $350! Need them gone!
  11. Hey, Unless they're CR Kai's, no trades, sorry.
  12. I picked up my 25GT Coupe for about 12K, There are 3 Child seat restraints in the back, which I think is a bit excessive for a coupe....but they were added when going through Compliance (They also destroyed one of the speakers when installing them ).
  13. May be a bit of a stupid question, but how exactly do you order from him?
  14. Ok, I respect what you said there, but just keep in mind, WE AREN'T ALL LIKE THIS! I myself look down on people who thrash their cars and don't take other people into consideration. I just wanted a R34 because I like the look of them, the only things I want to change are the Wheels, orange indicators, coil overs and a nice dark tint. I'm sure the majority of the people here in this thread arguing over nothing, respect their cars, peoples lives and the road rules. Oh and I'm in the Naturally Aspirated Performance section because I like to read and learn things, notice I haven't started a topic in this section before, I only joined in this thread because some guy was getting flamed at for nothing.
  15. And....who's to say N/A drivers can't afford to buy expensive bits and pieces now.....I'm 17 now and bought a R34 and buying expensive bits and pieces for it now and no, my parents do not give me money either. Yes, there are a lot a lot of idiots in the N/A section thinking their car is speed demon because of watching the F&F, but this thread ISN'T one of them, he was simply sharing his experience and thoughts, and here you are flaming everyone.....
  16. C'mon guys, throw me some decent offers, need to get rid of these to make room for the CR Kai's!
  17. I'm no expert in the engine area or car area at all really haha, but if all seals and gasket will be replaced in the future, won't you have to drain it anyway? Unless there is a possibility of rust buildup without oil?
  18. IMO, I would give it a good clean and wax, then get a decent car cover (Like ones with felting on the inside) with venting. Better then leaving it out in the open for a year where contaminants in the air and bird dropping build up. EDIT: If you drive the car everyday, don't get a cover (Unless you wipe your car down after every time you drive it), as taking it on and off will scratch the paint. I would still recommend one for the OP, but a cheapy with venting will do.
  19. Didn't even notice the typo, I meant $400 negotiable! Can also possibly deliver to Melbourne.
  20. I think I might have to go with the BC BR Coilovers, it's pretty much my only option as I need the adjust-ability. I have a fairly steep driveway, my parents stock height Camry's exhaust will scrape if not on an angle going down...... So I guess I will need it pretty high for now, but later this year when studying full time I will be moving down to Melbourne and living in the City, so I can lower it down then
  21. Couldn't agree more. Not everyone is in it for the performance and not everyone cares if it takes 8 seconds to get to 100Km/h, because that extra 4-5 seconds is gonna kill me Take your hate on someone who doesn't respect the road rules or peoples lives, not someone who just wants a nice sounding exhaust OR a nice looking car..... Also if we are driving N/A skylines on our L's/P's we're evidently not cheap skates....clearly the law is restricting us from driving turbos, after all you can pickup a Turbo R34 Skyline for about the same price as a N/A R34 Skyline. I'm positive not many 17 y/o's have enough money for 1 let alone 2 R34's, so calling N/A Skyline owners cheap skates is just a stupid statement.
