Hi guys, I have to sell my 1998 gtst 40th anniversary r33 due to a new member of the family being born. It has been our relibale every day car for the last two years ago. It was purchased from an importer with 88,000 km's on the clock. It now has 122000kms We have never had a problem with it. The car is in Perth. It is fairly stock but did come with a few little add on's. Blitz exhaust system 4 stage blitz dual boost control Greedy boost gauge Catch cam And I have just put in splitfire coil packs about 5000km's ago. The car had been serviced every 5000km( oil & filter) I also just had a xtreme-dcb-cushioned-ceramic-heavy duty clutch put in by Autoworx where all work but service has been done. They also set up boost controller on their dyno 12 psi max but runs at 7psi for everyday with 4 stages to play around with. Also have few spairs to go with the car. $10,500 firm what we are asking for. Only keen genuine buyers please ( no scammers) Pm me for more details or text me on 0447138005 and I'll get back to you as I work away. Any time fine day or night. Photo's on the way

Well that was a drunken rant.
-
Sorry to all but had a few jacks tonight and i know we all want more POWER buy can't we just remember we all have a awesome starting line to begin with.
-
As for power chip I want to talk to owners and builders with a passion not someone trying to sell me shit. Just want to learn but not by mistakes.
-
WTF! 3 different views on it all. To me if a new chip is just a new tune how the Fu"k do u tune a car without a car? I'll go with the 2nd post and just save for a ecu. Hard to find a good tuner with on the car on the dump, let alone just a chip.
-
Does anyone have any info on replacement chips for stock ecu I saw on eBay. They market them as poformance chips and the cost about 40 with postage. Just sounds a bit dodgy to me. The company is called Emance custom car and ecu tuning. If they where ok was thinking of getting one till I get a new ecu or nisstune chip.

Heres the quick fix i did until i get new hoses made up but took it for a run and it felt heaps better. just remember its a qick fix i know it look ugly. -
Just had my front and back shocks done on my 33 and just notcied today that i have this crease that transfers from one side to the other on the body of the car just below the wheel arch really weird. Would anyone out there have a clue what it could be? Could it be due to the shocks? just it's strange how it transfers to same spot either side of the car just below the wheel arch crease.

Catch Can Install Is This The Right Way?
aardi replied to aardi's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
thought i might of f#!!ked it. So what u have done is plumbed the catch can between the cam cover and the pvc taking out that pipe all togeather? did u notice a difference? will hook it up ur way just means bigger pipe and larger barb ends on the catch can witch will be a bitch to find. Thanks for the pics mate. -
]Well got around to installing my catch can on the weekend and i went with this set up. Can any one tell me if this is correct way of doing it and if its working properly ? Any thoughts would be great. Car seams to be running fine but has a miis under boost but i think that due to plugs or coil packs cause just went on the dyno and had boost turned up .

hey also check out this thread might help. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/345346-spark-plugs/page__st__20__p__5568291__hl__missfires__fromsearch__1#entry556829

Hey just started getting the same problem with my 33 s2 aswell. Took it in for dyno and tune and turned the boost up now it has a really big miss under boost but doesn't have to be alot of boost and it misses. Big miss though. Do you guys think could be the same problem running .8 gap pulled it down to that when i was getting a missfire last year, now the boost back up same thing happening but worse. Did you fix your miss with coil packs mate. Will try the above mentioned fixes and let u know how i go. I also heard that tapping up the coil packs or painting them with clear nail polish to stop any spark leak. Might give that a go too. Let u know how i go cause nothing worse than punching it and getting a huge miss.

thanks guys, found a coppy of fast getting it set up now should answer my questions.

They just looked at it again and they said my tie rod ends gone. Buy the way I'm not bagging Pedders nice guys at the one I went to and helpful. Just thought there price a bit much just for shocks. They said they would run me through how to do the rods myself. Anyone know what are a good brand or will any do. -

Pedders Shocks Are They Any Good?
aardi replied to aardi's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
It's not lowered but now the new shocks in the mrs says that when she goes full lock on the steering there is a loud clunk turning both ways. Sometimes I really hate working away but the fact she has no clue. Any ideas what the noise could be? Running 245/45 on the front and never had a problem with rubbing or anything like it. Could the steering be affected by shocks or anything done wrong putting new ones in or am I just a dumb as for letting the mrs sort it out? -

Yeah I shoul have put that in that was fitted with wheel alignment. Would have done them myself if not out of town and the mrs had to sort it out so not sure if they were pulling the piss.
