  1. I was looking at this model on JustJap https://www.justjap.com/store/product.php?productid=17316&cat=276&page=1 So I can scrap the above model? What are my other options?
  2. If your not convinced on a JJR dump, what would you go with. I would prefer to spend a few more dollars, if it was more reliable.
  3. So I decided I will use this thread as a sort of blog as I begin to modify my stagea. I have been looking around at different exhaust systems. I think I am set on a HKS Hi-Power 409 Silent Exhaust Along with a 3" cat flow - Undecided yet... any recommendations? And a JJR 3" Bellmouth Front/Dump Pipe from Just Jap Any other thoughts on the exhaust would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.
  4. Thanks for all the information, such a great forum for newbs like myself. I think I will start with the exhaust system as mentioned on here. I like the look of the HKS Silent exhaust, what other parts will I need for the full exhaust set up? - A 3" dump pipe? - A front pipe? - A cat flow? Sorry if this info should be basic knowledge, as mentioned earlier have only started appreciating the stagea and trying to gather as much info as possible. Out of curiousity, what would the stock s2 neo auto stag be pulling kwaw?
  5. Thanks for all of the information Darrin. Yes the car is an auto. If i increased the budget by another $500-$1k (total $2.5K to $3K), then would that help reach my power goal? Also as a matter of priority should a full exhaust set up come first?
  6. Hi All, I have had my 99 RS4 Stage for just over 18 months now and love driving it around. I have recently decided to invest some more money into the car to improve it. I have searched and looked around the forums for as much information as possible however I feel that information overload has occured, so i'm not really sure what to do first as far as modifying my car goes. It's also worth noting that in no way am I mechanically minded, so I normally don't install any parts or complete any of the modifications myself. I ahve never had the car tuned so I have no idea what kwaw I am getting. So far i have changed the fuel pump to a wallbro and had a 100,000 km major service completed. Aside from that the car is completely stock. My budget is $2K - I don't want the car to be loud, i'm not interested in it being heard from the next suburb - The smoother the ride, the better - My aim is for 200kwaw - I will eventually look towards aesthetic modificiations but at this stage i am interested in engine/driving modifications. - I am located in eastern melbourne, so recommendations of workshops is also appreciated. Thanks for all your information in advance.
  7. I got it done in Rev Zone in Ringwood, eastern suburs of Melbourne. was really happy with their sercie and communciation thorughout the job.
  8. 335 for a wallbro (sp?) pump fitted. That included the credit charge surcharge as well.
  9. So I got the car towed to the mechanic and it turns out the fuel pump was dead, they replaced it and everything bar my wallet is going good.
  10. So I parked my car, and now it wont start. It was 10.30 at night so I called the RACV. He said, that there was very little pressure in the fuel line, he was struggling to hear the fuel pump as well. There was like 40 litres of Premium petrol in the tank when it didn't start. Looks like i am getting it towed, but i am still unsure on where to take the car. It is parked in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. FML...
  11. Daleo, can I ask what product you used on the lights, also did you have to pull the lights out from the car and clean the inside as well?
  12. As i have very little knowledge about my car. If it is the fuel tank intake, how much would it cost to replace? Also i just had a major service completed on my car so i'm assuming the filters would have been replaced. Will an auto-electrician be able to fix the problem with my fuel gage?
  13. Last week when down to a 1/4 of a tank, my fuel completely cut out when i was making a right hand turn. Oce i brought the car to a safe stop. I turned the ignition off and let it sit. It started back up first time, and i got it to a petrol station where i re filled the car. That seemed to fix the problem. However today when i was taking a large right hand bend on a freewy with 1/3 of tank left the car did the same thing however it kicked back in without any safety issues. I have also up untill recently had a fuel gage that was playing up and would say that i have an empty tank, despite the tank nearly being full. I have a 1999 Series 2 Rs4 auto, it is completely stock. I have just had a major service done to the car. I always fill it up with 98ron petrol. Just trying to find out peoples opinions on what they think the issue could be? Cheers.
  14. Hi All, I have a 1999 Nissan Stagea RS4, with tip-tronic, twin sunroof, leather interior. Aside from that the car is completely stock. I have only recently taken to actually caring about my car... bad I know. But now that I have finally spent some money on the car, I see the rewards and the joy it can bring. I know next to nothing about cars so will probably ask a lot of stupid questions. Thanks in advance for all of the information. Cheers, Tom
