  1. of course i wait till its warm! its more when you duck into the shops and then start the car again its already up to temp though you dont want to give it a hard time till u cut over to gas
  2. got mine LiLPG setup on my 03.. love it. $4700 - $1500 from the rebate. took a week to install.. went from approx 14L per 100 to 17L per 100.. power gains of about 10%.. (would be much better with a tune) i run factory ECU.. and dump pipe thats it.. and runs even better on pure propane. got it installed at Seaview Gas Conversions in frankston VIC. only negatives is only 300k's out of the tank.. and i have to wait about 30 seconds before nailing it after starting the car up dont want to put your foot down to far on petrol as gas is colder temp and higher octane petrol will ping pretty badly.
  3. Yes i did a search for fog lights! though couldnt find any hits for this question I really dont care if they are OEM or aftermarket just wouldnt mind fitting them in.. Anyone found some or know where to get some? Aftermarket is probably preferable as it should be cheaper Cheers!
  4. can i see a pic of this?? i really would like to upgrade my instrument cluster its looks like its from the early 90s..
  5. was just thinking if there is no physical difference between the nismo and the standard ECU then surely we could work out how to clone the nismo and flash a factory one to nismo specs.. cant be that hard..
  6. i miss my tray.. dont fit no more with the LPG

  8. i think i am going to go with Castrol SLX Professional Longlife III Powerflow 5W-30 Its what my VW use on all their Golfs including the GTI and on all modern Audi's now too.. One oil is nice for both cars too means i can always use the excess
  9. Sorry mate havent found one yet. Apparently you can get a G35 infinity towbar to fit pretty well.

  10. Wow.. lots of replies! so basically i can run any filter i like as long as it fits a VQ35DE? And i want 10-30w oil. Awesome!
  11. I did some searches and came across the part number for the filter.. Z436.. though what oil do you run in a vq25det? i would imagine 5-35 or so though want to be sure. i only know the SR20det wanted 5/30 stuff was like water though necessary for that motor.. i have also read elsewhere that nissan recommend 7.5/30 for the vq35de. Any other filter recommend than the ryco? Cheers.
  12. hehe thats all good im in no rush though thought he might appreciate a fast sale
  13. shoot me a PM mate. Might be able to grab them this weekend.. though might try and drill you on price just a little
  14. i might be interested need to know some more about the rubber though size/brand etc. i can pickup too in Melb.
  15. jesus 250awkw.. sounds like our cars are not very much alike! mine only has a dump pipe nothing more.. my cutover to gas is usually completely seamless.. about 1 in 10 i will see a dip in revs for a split second though never stalled and only once came close when i was reversing up hill on a cold morning.. the guy out at seaview did say our cars were very different.. mine is a 11 month 2003.. whats your manuf date? hope it all gets worked out mate.
  16. first ive heard of it mate.. would love to organise it.. maybe we could do both our cars at the same time? mine has been flawless other than occasional misses on the freeway.. they believe that the gas could be vaporising in the lines.. 1 line feeding 1 bank is pretty close to the turbo so they are going to shield it for me..
  17. liquid LPG injection system lpg 104octane 57c Propane 110 octane 57c
  18. got JTG here too.. getting about 17L per 100 all city.. little bit better with propane.. if i give it a hard time i can get up to about 20.. no big deal.. 56c per litre to fill.. im thinking about putting it on a dyno to check mixtures cause i reckon its running rich.. if it is then its more power and economy to come. anyways loving my gas especially with all this middle east unrest.
  19. i need one with the remote too.. only got 1 when i bought it and i have the factory optioned alarm.. so i just give nissan the VIN and fork over a couple of hundred and i am ok?
  20. ok seems so it looks like it was actually my battery f*king out.. *almost* completely dead.. as i wrote earlier.. alarm was still active and had partial accessory lights.. really odd.. if it didnt have such odd symptoms i would have though it would have been battery from the start.. anyways so now looking for a new battery.. i see this similiar to the 3/4 size though it only has 1cm diameter terminals which is odd.. ive started looking into the latest AGM and maybe even lithium ion batteries though figured i may as well ask here to see what people recommend any ideas on how much CCA i need? im thinking 400 for 5 seconds should do it.. thanks again for all the assistance.
  21. thanks zei20l will give it a shot.
