Hey Guys I want to disconnect this part off my RB20DET as i want to install an aftermarket temp guage. If you look at the picture where the the radiator pipe should go there are 2 plugs after the thermostat. I want to remove the first one which is the larger of the 2. it is connect up to the wiring loom, just want to know what i am removing.

Check your groud wire, or even ground it to the body of the car and try again. also make sure when you turn your car on the ground doesn't become live.

Don't ground it to the same one as the battery. This can cause problems, also what brand amp are you using? some of the cheaper kind and really bad for nosie. A friend of mine had a cheap amp with a really bad whine through it, then he upgraded to a decent amp, noise gone, and we didn't change the wiring at all.

Hey Guys, Just wondering the correct way to change the coolant in my RB20DET, just the little bleed valve thing? anyone done this before?

Hey Guys, Need some help, changed over the spark plugs on the r32 engine, as i put this engine into my silvia, well it was running rough, anyway noticed that one of my coil packs has this part number 22433 60u02, and the other 5 have this coil Packs: 22433 60u01 could this be the cause of my prolems? haven't started the car since changing the plugs as l lost my keys after a on friday night. :Oops:

check out www.RB20DET.com they have both Copper and platinum they say the copper should be gapped to 1.1mm

Hey Guys, My car has just starting running hot and rough I plan on changing the spark plugs tonight, and check all the hoses and thermostat. I have a second hand radiator in it, which was serviced and clean and i was told it i was all okay. They car will run for 20 minutes fine, well rough, and then it will heat up after about 1 minute. and it will be low on coolant If that doesn't work do you guys have any suggestions of me?? have a blown the head gasket?? any suggestions??

car has s15 front seats and back seat is the non tweed, Brakes are DBA slotted front and rear, with Z32 caliapiers on the front. Diff is from the CA18DE, which makes take offs very fun. I am in Victoria

Hey Guys, I have a 1991 nissan silvia with a RB20DET in it. Car also has veilside kid, 17 inch rims, 3 inch exhaust from the turbo back. Bleed the clutch, this should fix the problem. I am doing my car tonight, simple to do. Cheers Dave
