Hi mate and welcome.......... I know of 3 prototypes....... The interesting thing about them is the VIN's. They are numbers ending with 11260, 11266 and 11268. So...... were there 9 in total if you fill in the blanks? I was contacted privately by the gentlemen who owns the blue one in Melbourne (TH1 paintcode). It's not hearsay, it's fact. Another one, (Gun Metal Grey) is currently for sale on Carsales and the 3rd was the Falken Bathurst 12hr car. If anyone else knows the whereabouts of any of the others that would be great. Cheers, Bob. -
With those numbers I think they will fix it. In the old days 60% of value, written off. Now days 75%-80% and they still fix it. Bob.

Hi Guys, as the title suggests, I'm after a passenger side door trim in very good to mint condition. It must not have any damage or repair work. Mines been repaired poorly so it just doesn't cut it. Prefer in Sydney so I can collect with cash. Cheers. Bob.

That's $22,000 plus the price of the car............ I hope you have more success than I do. I always do my arse on these type of builds. I genuinely wish you good luck. Bob.

Yes Terry, That's been for sale for a long time sadly. Here - http://www.carpoint.com.au/all-cars/private/details.aspx?R=SSE-AD-176916&Cr=3 Bob. -
Yep......... Got it, thanks Terry. Great issue....... Charger vs. 240Z R32 GT-R 5 page feature Subaru WRX STI 22B article Prince Skyline 6 page feature Japanese Buyers guide Japanese Value charts Japanese Snapshots Torana A9X with (162 kms) 6 page feature Mercedes Benz SL560 for old farts like us! I think it's good value and if I was in the market I'd probably jump on it. The only thing is to make sure it's a genuine V-Spec 2. It doesn't take much to add wheels and Brembo brakes. The spare wheel is yellow and I always thought the V-Specs got the larger black space saver to fit over the bigger brakes, I know mine has. Yet, both my ADM's have the smaller yellow spares. The blue ID plate on the fire wall will confirm its legitimacy. Cheers, Bob.

R32 Gtr Vspecii 1994 Value
Aussie_Delivered_R32_GTR replied to 240kingdat's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I think it's worth more than that. The only comparable auction that I found is this one: 1994 SKYLINE GT-R V SPEC 2 2,600cc 47,000km White MT 4.5 Action Grade 2,487,000 yen $37,200 A half decent original unmolested V-Spec 2 should start at $30K. Bob. -
My guy who I have been using for 7 years recently picked up AAMI and has become a preferred repairer and simply can't do private work at the moment. I then asked around and was recommended a BMW preferred repairer who's credentials are excellent. Unfortunately he is a fair bit dearer than my previous guy but I think will do a better job. I've always struggled withmy previous guy's colour matching........... But as the old cliche goes, you get what you pay for. Once I collect the car, I'll post up his details if I think he deserves it. Bob.

Firstly, yes...... KH2 was available in V-Spec 2. They do command a premium but like most R32's finding a good one takes time. I'm just spending an insane amount of money on mine to get it right. I'm past the point of no return and just couldn't be bothered starting all over again finding another. I know how hard it is. I'll post up pics once completed, hopefully this week but in a nutshell, all rust areas will be repaired including the driver side rear quarter panel and sill etc. The entire RHS will be painted as is the front bar. Money pit but nearly there! Bob.

I came across this car in Japanese Imports magazine issue #183. Full feature.......... I did some homework and it's #14/100. Cheers, Bob. -
Settle petal......... The GT-R is still a lovely car but yes, the 22B is mint. I helped him put a new washer bottle and battery in it yesterday and he has done a fantastic job detailing the car. (Blue and yellow battery looked crap.) According to some Scoobie aficionados, they reckon there are only 11 22B's in Australia...... 5 ADM's and 6 private imports of which my mates is one. These pics are far too washed out, my iPhone had a shocker! Bob.
