  1. Shall do..... You have met him before Terry, he's another "senior" member of our group. Bob.
  2. Cool........ I've sent off an EOI....... Bob.
  3. Hey guys, I just had a chat with a mate of mine who is keen on taking his new ride on this run with us. It's a very rare car ........ 1998 Subaru Impressa WRX STI 22B. I'm not sure if many of you are up to speed on these but in a nutshell here are the facts. Only 424 were made worldwide. On the release of the sales, all 400 Japanese units sold out from 30 minutes to 48 hours, depending on the report. Another 24 were produced for export markets—16 for the UK, along with another 5 for Australia, and 3 prototypes. The Australia cars cost $132,000 complied. This is no ordinary WRX! You can read a bit more about it here - http://www.motormag.com.au/reviews/0905/legends-1999-subaru-sti-22b/ He doesn't want to tread on toes as he knows it is fundimentally a Skyline group but if he's welcome he'd love to come. Here are a few pics we took when he bought the car. And yes, the widebody is 100% factory original. Cheers, Bob.
  4. Makes sense......... Haven't seen the stolen and recovered car. Any ADM is a good ADM!   Bob.
  5. OK......... Just to clarify, The owner bought 2 ADMs within 5 days of each other. The one in the picture is a stolen/recovered, not the car mentioned on here in post 1125. The tail lights are from a silver car he bought late last year. To the best of my knowledge, neither car will be wrecked, certainly not the Castle Hill car. A few pics I took when I inspected the car. Cheers, Bob.
  6. Yes........ I'd be in this please. Cheers, Bob.
  7. I believe the car is now sold........ Bob.
  8. Hi Kasey, I too live in Castle Hill (Cherrybrook/Dural side) and as an owner of 2 ADM's and one V-Spec 2, I would be only too happy to inspect the car and give you a fair evaluation as to its worth. I'd love to see Duncan buy the car so rest assured I have no intention of cutting his grass! :worship: I'll send you an email containing my contact details. Regards, Bob.
  9. Took 7 months to sell but it has. Lovely car! Bob. http://www.classicthrottleshop.com/modernclassic22.html
  10. Gee you guys know how to rewrite history! Brock was nowhere to be seen in '92, it was Dick Johnson who thought he won the race. Watch and learn! Bob.
  11. I have a set of OEM's if your interested...... $50.00 plus delivery. Bob.
  12. Looks like another ADM has hit the market but unfortunately with next to no info............ http://carpoint.carpoint.ninemsn.com.au/all-cars/dealer/details.aspx?R=AGC-AD-17185313&Cr=1 Bob.
  13. I'm a '62 model so I'm allowed to! BTW........ It's a '59 model! Bob.
  14. Hi Marco, The number plate recognition will only sound alarm bells if a car is unregistered/stolen or anything that relates to that plate. It doesn't know the car model. Unless the policeman does an individual check on the car, nothing will happen. I did a QLD and VIC check of that plate and nothing came up there either. Presumably the 1959 relates to his birth year and his initials........ Another old fart driving an ADM! Bob.
  15. OK......... We have a problem with that one. I ran a check through myRTA rego and history check and that rego comes up as a 2006 Ford Falcon! Either it had an other states rego plate of the guy is swapping plates to avoid number plate recognition in police cars as the car would be unregistered. Cheers, Bob.
  16. Sold locally by Scuderia? New I presume? Are they still around? Bob.
  17. Thanks for that, I do remember you posting about them. So am I correct in saying they are simply an "up market" grey import? Bob.
  18. From my understanding, only the 3-4 prototypes plus the 100 documented ADM's are worth ADM money. That said, even the prototypes are debatable. Some say they are worth more, some say not as much. It's a tricky one I guess. I know little about the Scuderia cars. If they are just grey imports before Nissan finalised their 100 cars then that's what they are...... "Grey Imports" and should be priced accordingly. I don't see why they should bring a premium, let alone ADM money. Could anyone clarify exactly what they are? Thanks, Bob.
  19. Here you go.......... http://www.pitstop.net.au/products/aussie-godzilla--the-r32-gt-r-arrives-downunder/ Cheers, Bob.
  20. The problem with vehicles like this one is they become 1:1 scale model cars. The mileage is what creates such a high price so the moment you drive it, the value drops. You would want to have a lot of cash to be able to buy such a car and then never drive it. Bob.
  21. Here you go mate......... Cheers, Bob.
  22. Hey Richard......... I have one that is pretty rooted and has no horn button that you can have for $50.00 plus postage. I'll take some pics soon and post it up for you. Bob.
  23. No........ There is three...... Person A then Person B then the truth!
