  1. Hi John, You best bet is to try and track down a good passenger seat and get you trimmer to convert it to a driver's seat. It's a bit of mucking around but can be done. My trimmer did it for my JDM. Even if you could find a good drivers side seat, odds are they would have the passenger seat too so you would have to by the set. There is no other option. Re trimming over the original will not look much chop. What he said is true, the material is vulcanised onto the foam. Good luck...... Bob.
  2. A mate of mine will come too....... He also has a red ADM. Cheers, Bob.
  3. Have we got an updated list on who's attending? Nice to see so many R32 GT-R's at one time. Bob.
  4. No... if you are asking me the question....
  5. Unfortunately my guy is in the North/North West so Milperra may be a bit too far for him but I'll ask him. Bob.
  6. Update on these numbers....... 30 Australia wide, 9 only in NSW.
  7. Where are you? I may have someone for you....... Bob.
  8. Yeah......... I'll buy one and I'll be there.... Bring one along for me please. Thanks...... Bob.
  9. According to the Nissan ADM Technical Specifications document that is the correct part number. They may well of used that badge on another model that had holes. Cheers, Bob.
  10. Sounds great...... I'm really looking forward to this. Bob.
  11. No...... V Spec 1 had 225/50/17's......V Spec 2 is 245/45R17 Cheers.
  12. Congratualations on a great piece of communication. I love this type of stuff. BTW..... I think you will find that V Spec II models had 245/45 Series/17 ........not 50 series. Cheers, Bob.
  13. Very well said!  I've owned and currently do own some exotic cars but let me say the R32 GT-R is a fabulous bit of work and is probably the best all round car I've every owned and I'm 50! My ADM is a collectible and it will be lucky to see 500 kms per year but the JDM is the one I look forward to driving on weekends. Its comfortable, smooth, fast, affordable, good looking, reliable...... need I continue? The problem is there are so many $hitboxes out there they contaminate the marque and in particular this model. If you can find one that is in good original condition then you are halfway there. In stock form with general road use they will last forever. Check this out.............This one has been for sale for quite a while yet on paper it appears great value - http://www.carpoint....id=1391C0E143CC As I said in a previous post, I have a buyer for my JDM in February for a lot more money than the asking price here. If I hadn't of bought another car 7 weeks ago I would have been tempted to have bought this one and just parked it. There are nice R32 GT-R's out there, you just need to know what to look for. A $12,000 clunker is going to cost you an absolute fortune though. That would be a recipe for disaster and it will end it tears. Cheers, Bob.
  14. Nobody is a bigger fan of these cars than I am but I have to agree........ Weekend fun car absolutely! Daily.... no chance. I own 2 of these cars, an ADM and a JDM, both stock both well sorted but even then I couldn't imagine them as a daily. My daughter bought a 2003 WRX with a full STI body kit and it's a great car. A fantastic daily. Buy one of those, send it to a reputable tuner if you must and you will enjoy a reliable, comfortable daily with more than adequate gusto. Good luck. Bob.
  15. Yes....... Well you could about 6 months ago anyway. Part Number - NI-96015-05U00 List price $480.52 + GST. When you order one, get on your hands and knees and beg for a discount. If you beg hard enough you may get up to 20% off that. Good luck! Cheers, Bob.
  16. Hi Guys, To put things into perspective, this is how rare these things are getting.......... On January 1 of this year, I noted 66 R32 GT-R's for sale on CarPoint, Australia wide of which 18 were in NSW. Today...... there are only 38 Australia wide, of which only 12 are in NSW. A good friend of mine comes into some money in February after selling some land and wants to buy my JDM. We agreed in principle but conceded we would finalise things then. After looking at these numbers I'm getting cold feet, this has even surprised me. They are dropping like flies! Bob.
  17. You mean the finance company does! The drivers just rent them....
  18. Unless I've misunderstood you, January 19 is a Saturday........ Bob.
  19. I'd love to get an R32 GT-R data base created. The data base would simply include the owners first name and an email address with a mobile phone number option. This way I'd be happy to organise 3-4 cruises a year just for 32's. If we get enough at this photshoot I'd be prepared to kick it off. Thoughts? Bob.
  20. All jokes aside, I see R32's continually being requested to be fasted in that thread (VIN's you want fasted) but hardly ever see them on the road. I've had my ADM for a bit over 2 years now and I've had my JDM for 9 months yet can't seem to find too many others. Even at the SAU Nationals there were only a handful. I really hope a few turn up to this event as it's important to form a register. Bob.
  21. I'm actually thinking that maybe they were part of the ADM package. We know that there is no mention of it on the paperworks but I think it's something worth looking into...... Bob.
  22. I'm up for this........ I may well bring the ADM as It's been cocooned since the Skyline Nationals....... I'd actually like to get an R32 Register together. When I bought my car there were R32's everywhere, now I'm luck to see one or two on a run. Where are they all? Bob.
  23. Actually....... Mine came with lambswool seat covers too! I wonder if there is something in this? Bob.
