Just had mine done........ Engine oil supposedly takes 4.6 litres but my mechanic said it nearly took all 5 litres. Gearbox is around 4.1 lites but the trick there is to fill it until you think its full, leave it for 30 minutes and then fill again. Apparently you get a fair bit more in that way.. Redline lightweight shockproof is great..... I played around with different options but came to the conclusion that it is the best stuff for our cars. Cheers......... Bob. -
OK ........ I've just read the scheduled events attachment above but still need to know this: My mate an I are coming down on Saturday morning with both of my cars, do we go to the info centre to register first or can we go straight to the Show and Shine in Montague Street? I have already registered and paid for both our entries and I have the forms in the cars. Thanks, Bob.

Thanks mate....... Are you coming down to the Nationals on Saturday? I'm displaying both cars so if you can make it , you'll see it.... Bob.

Hi Guys, As an owner of one of the 100 Australian delivered R32 GT-R's I was curious to know if the R32 enthusiasts in Japan know it even exists? If so does it get mentioned as something special or unusual? Or.... is it like America whereby anything that relates to overseas doesn't matter? Considering these 100 ADM cars were the only R32's that Japan ever exported I thought they may have created a little bit of interest. Any feedback on this topic would be appreciated. Cheers, Bob. PS........ Here are some attached pics which will help you see the differences with the JDM.

Factory Gtr32

I just noticed on Carpoint its down to $19,900.00....... http://www.carpoint.com.au/all-cars/private/details.aspx?R=13189160&YearFromShort=1633&__Qpb=1&keywords=&Cr=10&__Ns=pCar_PriceSort_Decimal|0||pCar_RankSort_Int32|1||pCar_Make_String|0||pCar_Model_String|0&SearchAction=N&YearToShort=1668&__N=1216 1247 1282 4294963593 4294963846 1622 4294933125 1633 1668&silo=1011&seot=1&__Nne=15&__No=15&trecs=52&__sid=1391C0E143CC I'm stunned it hasn't sold. Has anyone seen it in real life? Are there any issues? PM me if you know anything. If I had a spare $20K I'd buy and park it. These things are near impossible to find in stock condition. It has taken me 6 months to get mine to this condition and it owes me a lot more than the current asking price. Cheers, Bob. -

The car looks stunning but to get a premium you need history with documentation and paperwork. If you have the original press kit, portfolio wallet, owners manual, ADM brochures and booklets then your in business. If you need clarification on this, feel free to contact me for more info. PS: I'm in Newcastle on a regular basis so if you would like to catch up let me know. Bob. -

Ok....... This whole fluids thing has been doing my head in over the last few months. I had all my fluids replaced about 6 months ago but I'm not happy with some noticeable gear noise within the gearbox/drive train. I have a JDM R32 GT-R. All Stock with rebuilt gearbox in excellent condition. I am revisiting the whole thing in line with factory specs. I've spent a fair bit of time trying to tick all the boxes for each component. After researching all the specs and talking to some gearbox specialists I am flushing EVERYTHING and putting the following in the car: Engine Oil - Mobil 1 10W/40 HIGH MILEAGE Formulation. This is not available over the counter in Australia but a guy brings in in from the USA and sells it on Ebay. Here - http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Mobil-1-Engine-Oil-High-Mileage-10W40-6-Quart-/180651266349?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2a0fa7912d Front Diff - This was tricky. I wanted an 85W/90 weight, non LSD formulation that was compatible with hypoid differentials. I ended up choosing Liqui Moly Hypoid Oil SAE 85W/90. Gearbox - I'm going to try Penrite Transaxle 75. It's a 75W/90 Semi Synthetic premium performance oil. I'm happy to compromise a little bit of smoothness in the shifting for a quieter drivetrain which I've been told may occur.... (I'm hoping) Rear Diff - I'm going for Penrite Limslip 90 which is a 80W/90 LSD gear oil. Transfer Case and Actuator - Nissanmatic D. I'm not interested in taking risks so I'm just going to fill it with the OEM recommendations. This is all happening on Thursday so I'll let you all know how it goes. If anyone thinks I'm committing suicide please let me know before then. Cheers, Bob. -

So Ettomogah Pub meeting point is a go!!!!!!!!!! See you all there! Bob. -
The ADM R32 GT-R's got a different rear muffler for exactly that reason. I thought it was a bit strange and to be honest I can't pick the difference between my ADM or JDM ........ they sound the same to me. Bob.

Get there at 11;00am for a chinwag and catch up? Lunch is booked for 12:30pm so we could leave at 11:45am. Thoughts? Bob. -

It also depends how far apart they were sold.... There is 58,000 kms difference in the mileage. You wouldn't think these cars would do that kind of mileage but as I say it depends when they were sold. Your right though..... The positioning of the alarm light is definitely in a different spot. Cheers, Bob. -
