  1. I'm sure they can. Just ring an instrument place and ask them. Here's one - Attspeed Auto Instruments -Speedometers - St Marys, NSW Unit 1, 35- 37 Glossop St, St Marys NSW 2760, Australia - (02) 9833 0055 I know VN-VS Commodore ones can be............ I rang inquiring about a car once and ask how many kms has the car traveled? The owner replied with........ how many would you like it to have done? Bob.
  2. OK Guys.......... This should settle things once and for all. Please check and make sure I haven't made any typos. I always thought mine was #26...... turns out it's #27. As I said before, the numbers were all over the place. Regards, Bob.
  3. It appears to be #36 but the numbers are all over the place so let me or others double check it. Is the car still in WA? I've been meaning to put the numbers into a spreadsheet and then sort in asending order. It's 1 hr I haven't found yet! LOL. Bob.
  4. I know I'm old school but is there an English version of what he asked? LOL. Bob.
  5. For those looking it up........... Guildford. Bob.
  6. Bummer...... I re-read the post after I posted my reply. Shame, it would have been great to have all 3 colours. Anyway..... is there anyone out there that has a 100% STOCK JDM? If so, it would be a great opportunity to take some side by side photos of the Aussie vs. Japanese models showing off the differences. Bob.
  7. Hi Michelle....... Thanks for the welcome. Yes, I did order a shirt (XXL). I'm not too worried about waiting but I'd like to get into the members section here. How does that eventuate? Thanks, Bob.
  8. Sounds good............ I may be able to get my mate who recently bought the red one to come. If we get 4 cars that's not too bad. Bob.
  9. Hi Guys, I faxed my application through and paid via direct deposit a few days ago. How long does processing normally take? Thanks, Bob.
  10. Where abouts in Sydney are you Marko? Bob.
  11. OK, that makes it a bit harder than I thought........ Bugger. Anyway well see what other responses we get over the next week or so. Bob.
  12. Looks stunning! I'm in Castle Hill but don't mind travelling within reason. Black Plates with silver lettering would be my preference but it's up to you. I'm getting pretty excited about meeting a few of you so if we only end up with 4-5 that's fine too. BUT.........if we get 10 or more I'd be ecstaticc. :worship: Bob.
  13. Maybe we can work with you? What area are you in? I'm thinking of Tuesday April 26 as this has been declared as a public holiday due to Easter Monday conflicting with Anzac Day. Let's get some feedback and see if this day is any good. Bob. :thanks:
  14. That's great news, congratulations. Maybe a few of us "Aussie owners" should get together for a luncheon or something. I'm happy to coordinate things if that's of any interest to others? Post some pics if you can. If not email them to me and I can resize them and post them for you if you want. Congrats again and let me know if a meet and great is of interest. Bob.
  15. Thanks for that........ I did read that article but further investigations have confirmed that the remaining cars were eventually sold. I spoke to an ex-Capital Motors Nissan salesperson who remembers the cars well. Many of you may not know this but when the VL Group A SS (Walkingshaw not Brock) was released, it was meant to be a 500 build but Holden got greedy and built another 250. The bulk of these took forever to sell. I remember going into a Holden dealer early in 1989 looking at buying a VN Executive Station Wagon. A brand new VL GPA was still on display on the showroom floor. They stopped making these in 1987. The GTR's are much the same however the remaining 33 cars did eventually find homes according to my source.................. Bob.
  16. Dealer fitted when new. I didn't have a close look at it but I think it's a Hollandia. Bob.
  17. My R32 GTR only says Skyline too. You will find that the "Model" designation is listed, not the badge. Pretty normal. I owned 2 HSV Senators back in the 90's and their model designation stated Berlina as that was the core vehicle from Holden. You reckon that didn't cause confusion from 1st time buyers. Bob.
  18. Well done... us "stockers" can keep together..... Bob.
  19. As requested....... It measures 4.4cm x 8.4cm. Regards, Bob.
  20. Yeah sorry, I thought we were talking about Frank rb25 zed's car, my mistake. Naturally not stock. LOL.
  21. Nah not me.......... A mate of mine bought it. Lovely car. Bob.
  22. Sold.......... being collected later tonight. Bob.
  23. Yes...... With a silk cover. Bob.
  24. It looks like a standard wing. Here are some pics of mine that I took last Sunday......... The garage was owned by the original owner when the car was new. Bob.
