  1. Ok........ Unfortunately it isn't a V-Spec........ Courtesy of http://gtr-registry.com this is what we have: Std GT-R built June '93 in Gun Metal Grey. Cheers, Bob.
  2. LOL............ I had a spare one a few years ago and offered it to a guy with an ADM....... Told him the cassette player didn't work. He declined buying it for $100....... Sold it a year later for a lot more! Bob.
  3. After a fair bit of research taking OEM specs and 25 year improvement in technology this is what I put into my cars.... Some may argue this and that and the other but this is just my recommendation: Oil Nulon Full Synthetic 15W/50 or Penrite 10W/40 Plus 10. Rear Differential Oil Nulon SAE90 LSD Gear Oil Gearbox Oil Redline MT-90 Gearbox Oil Front Differential Oil Liqui Moly 85W-90 Hypoid GL5 Oil Nissan Long Life Coolant Nissan OEM Coolant Transfer Case/Actuator Fluids NISSAN MATIC D ATF Cheeers, Bob.
  4. Long Shot but you don't happen to still have the wheels do you?
  5. Hey Ken, You can get the vents here: http://www.kudosmotorsports.com/catalog/styling-interior-c-21_22_25_37.html Cheers, Bob.
  6. Don't forget guys, that's $100k in US$$$$$$.. Approx $131,000 Aussie Dollars. Bob.
  7. Yee ha! Well done congratulations! Bob.
  8. You can find the parts here - http://jp-carparts.com/nissan/figlist.php?maker=nissan&type=79&cartype=51 Then type the part number into here - https://www.amayama.com/en This will give you an idea of price but many parts are getting discontinued daily. There are also many suppliers you can pick from. This amongst other reasons are pushing up the prices on clean original ones. Minor rust or surface rust just needs to be dealt with but major rust can be a financial money pit. I'm not an expert on this type of thing, my only thoughts are to get a PPI (Pre-Purchase Inspection) done on the car by someone who is trained in this area. Maybe speak to a local panel shop and offer them $100 for a good look at the car. Should buy you a good hour. On face value, the car looks pretty good so I'd be surprised if there was anything serious to be concerned with. To be honest, I remember seeing this car when it first came up for sale. They had a silver one a friend was interested in and this one just arrived. I remember thinking it was pretty neat but they wanted $65K at that stage. The A$ Aussie dollar has strengthened a fair bit over the last 6-8 months since they got it hence the reduction in price. Let us know how you get on. Bob.
  9. I think the car is what it suppose to be......... If you are looking for 100% originality there are a few minor things that could altered to enhance the car. Personally I hate the side blinkers in the front guards. I know that it is an ADR but quite a few importers and now conveniently forgetting to fit them. They should be fitted in line with the GT badge. It just looks crooked when they are misaligned. The positive terminal should have a red protective cap, I paid about $8 for my last one. The battery should have a plastic box surround.... Around $40.00. The rear muffler whilst looking very close to original, is an aftermarket variant. The bodykit is a bit disjointed, it has the N1 front bonnet extension but no nostrils in the front bar. It has the 3 piece side skirts but no rear N1 boot extension under the spoiler. Personally I'd remove the fitted pieces and have it present perfectly stock. The footrest has some aftermarket metal add on. So........ With all that said, from memory, this car was a 4.5/B Grade car when it went to auction in Japan. Cars like this are fetching around 3.5 - 4.0 million yen in Japan. That equates to about A$59,000 in today's money landed, complied and registered. If you want the car as a long term collectable then yes it's certainly worth the money. If you want to use it as a daily then forget about it. Providing it hasn't been painted and all the documentation including the Japanese log book and owners manual is present then yes finding another car like this is difficult. I own a sister car to this also white with 74,000 kms also a 4.5/B. I've invested a fair bit of time and effort into mine and it certainly is rewarding owning these time capsule cars. BTW the original Bridgestone RE71 tyres is a nice touch....... Useless to drive on but sensational for a collector. If you buy the car, I'd be happy to buy you brand new tyres in lieu of the RE71's! Good luck, I'm sure it's a great car. Bob.
  10. This car I suspect? http://www.carpoint.com.au/all-cars/dealer/details.aspx?R=OAG-AD-13963732&Cr=1 Bob.

  13. Ring Shannons and NRMA Veteran, Vintage and Classic Insurance. Impossible for us to quote without seeing photos let alone the car. Bob.
  14. 968 R32 GT-R's were built in the first month of production being August 1989. Yours is one of these cars....... Courtesy of the GT-R Registry here is the data - http://gtr-registry.com/en-r32-colours.php Congratulations........ Cheers, Bob.
  15. All ADM 's were 1991 builds so most likely an import but please post up more info so we can confirm. Bob.
  16. Only if I copy and paste the http: address into the search bar. You need to upload the image from you computer etc..... Beg for forgiveness not permission! Bob.
  17. To put things into perspective, my V-Spec II made 325kw at 20PSI boost at the RW's with the following mods: Nistune ECU Upgrade NISMO AFS HKS EVC 6 Boost Controller. Sard 720cc Injectors Walbro Fuel Pump Upgrade but size not known Garrett GT2859-9 Turbos Tomei Adjustable Cam Gears (Intake and exhaust). HPI 3.25" Dump Pipes High Flow 3" Catalytic Converter 3.25" HKS Exhaust System with 4.75" Cannon. Cheers, Bob.
  18. They were discounted when they cheaper anyway. The Japanese auctions don't lie. It all stems from there, it's just all about supply and demand. But yes, original clean cut cars are what sells. Bob.
  19. Yep and here is another one just for good measure............
  20. This arrived in my inbox not long ago........ A car gets listed, they get heaps of calls so the raise the price! Go figure!! Bob.
