i put a 1jz in a vr ss commodore, spent 25grand by the time i sold it, went like the crackers, put many a "sports car" skyline to shame, on the straights, and in the bends on some occasions. people can bag the v6 as much as they like, look up itt38l and see what a v6 can do with roughly the same money youd have to spend on a skyline to get the same power and times. in new zealand there is a guy running low 11's, about to crack 10s with an unopened buik 3.8l v6 turboed, in a vb commodore with a standard rear end, now thats budget racing getting excellent times. dont get me wrong, i love imports and their superiority over the commodore, but dont write them off!!!!!

what mounting points inparticular?? obviously not chassis tox member as they wouldnt be interchangeable. so your talking the engine mounting points??

hi there, i know you can throw an r32 crossmember in an s13 when doing a rb20 conversion into s13. so they obviously have the same bolt holes where they go into the chassis rails. So im wondering whats the difference in the 2 crossmembers, ie, why cant you bolt the rb20 to the s13 crossmember? Also any other differences between the two.. any help much appreciated, thanks cameron

brands dont mean a huuuge deal, its the design of the muffler. i could sell you a performance muffler that will last just as long as one of those branded ones, and make just as much power and sound just a good.

i made my own puller for spigot bushes, it should slide out easily just need a hook of some description welded to the end of a bit of bar with a big lump of steel sliding on it!

UPDATE!!! Picked up an r154 gearbox on monday night shimmed up the diff tight as, refitting it tomorrow along with a lockout bar. Also resprayed the engine bay 2 pack satin black, came up great. Its all coming together now!!!
