you are incorrect my friend. we have unhappy people with stainless exhaust come into work every single day. Stainless exhausts may "outlast" a mild steel system in terms of a lack of rust but they crack like crazy. Iam forever pulling stainless exhaust of cars to weld up HUGE cracks in exhausts that are only 18 months old. It is very rare that i have to weld up a stress crack in a mild steel system. And dont even get me started on stainless bolts, studs and nuts. Once you have worked in an exhaust shop you will understand mate!!!

200cell is the most high flowing "legal" cat you can really go. if you want to start going illegal go 100cell. but in all honesty, most people wont make enough power for a 200cell cat to ever become a restriction!

a good mild steel 3inch system from the turbo, a chambered centre muffler, high flow cat and twin 3inch drift pipes at the back will sound absolutely mint! will be fairly loud though or if you have a thing shiny cannons, go 3inch turbo back with hi flow cat, middle resonator/hotdog and cannon at rear, will have an okay note but not too loud i would advise against stainless, its not what its cracked up to be. just find an exhaust shop near you to make as system, if you cant find anyone decent come up and see me in newcastle!!! Iam an exhaust mechanic and we do lots of skylines!

whats wrong with cast, cast is good for before the turbo. but anyway i can supply u with a high mount or low mount but both are stainless unfortunately.

some people like the live axle as opposed to the irs in a commodore for drift because irs in commodores has a tendancy to want to bog down not slide like a solid axle will. but i used to drift my twin turbo commodore with irs with ease. if you have enough power and know how to get it to slide it is actually better because of the irs better handling(controllability).

ive got in a huge arguement with a knowall who knows nothing on another forum regarding coolants, i work in a mechanical repair business specialising in exhausts and radiators, i change coolant every day, use whatver coolant you want, so long as it has anti corrosive properties that dont effect alloy as they pretty much all do anyway so you should be fine. Red or green, it doesnt matter, its just a dye. I cant remember the brand off the top of my head that i use at work but we buy it in big goon sacks in bulk anyway so i doubt it is retailed. We have both red and green and they both contain the same ingrediants, just different dyes. I run this in 2 of my cars and supercheap brand in the other and have never had an issue, neither have any of our customers.

you can fit the extractors to the xr8 without removing engine but it is an absolute mission and a 2 days job, i work in an exhaust shop, we have done lots.

undo the sensor at the plug then unscrew it from the dump once you have it off the car if you cant get to it with a spanner while the dumps still on the car. will give more power yes! and a different noise

i brought a vt 5.7 v8 commodore as a tow car, itll tow a liner on a trailer no worries at all, needs some stiffer springs in the rear but it loves it!
