  4. what about the under body brace u still have? as well as the hids? also i know u have sold the Greddy emanage ultimate but just like to know some info. u had it fitted to a s1 yer? and they fit no prob? i ask because i am looking to fit 1 to my s1 and been looking at all types of piggy back ecu's

  6. Why dont u change ur fuel filter could be blocked but not think it would cause that much trouble unless its 95% blocked. witch it could be if its never been changed. Its not hard to change and not cost much for the filter ether. Think i remb u saying that u could not hear the pump prime any more or it was quieter. First i would see if u can hear it. if so then remove the rubber hose from the fuel rail and see if its getting fuel up to the rail. If that's ok then do what t revz said crimping the return fuel hose to add fuel pressure. any how hope u get it sorted
  7. allstar is where i would go. the service is easy done like boss-zilla said. so just get it running. my bet is its prob fuel pump but lets see the out come lol
  8. well the price will come down to how long it takes them to find the problem. and then how it needs to be fixed and at what cost. sorry to say it but ur car has a GTR badge lovely cars but cost lots to maintain
  9. yer it is easy u need some 1 with a test kit thow. i am shore 1 of the guys on hear would have 1 just ask around. if i remember right some 1 said about the head gasket before in this post. do as much testing as u can before pulling out the motor
  10. if u do take the motor out take the box off as well and check the rear main. timing belts are not that hard u just have to make shore u get it top dead center and not have any thing move on u. it is a lot easier to do with the motor out u have more room to see what ur doing.
  11. thats it becouse ur taking the motor out just check every thing. get a genuine nissan RB26 timing belt as well after market 1s are not worth it in my eyes. i have had lots of problems with after market 1s
  12. well there would be no point changing ur p/s, fan and ac belt's till u change ur timing belt, tensioner's and water pump. because if u just change them belt's u will just have to take them back off to do the rest. so if ur thinking about doing it do the timing belt,tensioner's water pump and the other belt's the rest can be done a little later
  13. yer i had the same prob with my s1, the right tie rod end was worn. So i replaced both of them with genuine nissan 1s cost me 221 and s1 is the same as 34GTR. i also found out after the front drive shafts stop clicking they start to wobble so i changed both sides. if its bouncing could be shocks. Is the car lowered? Mine bounces and its because i have RsR springs in the front with stock shocks so it hits the bump stops. but coilovers and sway bars are coming soon

  15. lol yer ether that or find some1 that can solder. I can help but depends on where u are? i work in a electronics workshop so i know i can solder lol. use to do immobilisers and alarms at jshop, decibel car stereo and autoworx

  17. Hi dose any one know if the s1 has a 33 GTR power steer rack or 34 GTR? I changed my tie rod ends a little while ago and they where the same as 34GTR so i am thinking that its a 34 rack. I am asking because i am wanting to get a set of nismo rack bushes
  18. dats it look at all the wires at the ecu and if some are bare i would cut them re-solder and use heat shrink not tape. then if it still dose it look at fuel pump. if it was making noise befor and not now might be some thing to look at
  19. I would try pump. it sounds like it might not be getting fuel. My stagea dose not like starting first time in the morning and i am shore its to do with low fuel pres. When i started it in the morning it would fire and run but run like it was missing or not getting enough fuel then stall. after i start it again or give it a rev it comes good. So i have fitted a 040 and it is a little better but still run's bad for about 10 sec's before the rev's pick up. I have a hks fuel reg i will be fitting soon as 1 of the stock 1s might be bad runs like a tractor maby it thinks its a sr lol
  20. have u tried a new fuel pump? and when u say its a struggle to even start now do u mean it hardly turns over because of the battery or the motor sounds tight?
  21. Haha true true. They are just the parts i found on nengun but i will be look for cheaper. Yer i think there castor rods nengun called them tension rods. So chuckie do u know if the s1 power steer rack is 34gtr? Also where is a good place to look in Perth of the bit's i am after? i would go to jshop if i was still working there and if it was still open lol
