  1. I am looking at getting some better handling from the s1 stagea. have been told the front end is GTR and the rear is gtt. What most people cant tell me is if the front is 33 or 34 GTR. I have been told 33 from some work shops and others say its 34. I replaced my tie rod ends and they where the same as 34GTR so i am thinking the power steer rack is 34. I am after these bits if that help's adjustable pillow tension rods adjustable front upper arm tension rod bar Nismo reinforced steering mount bushes Nismo sway bars ( front / rear) Nismo front Under-Floor reinforcing bar
  2. did u re-solder the wire at the ecu? some time's i find at my work when we have part timer's come they can not solder well and cause dry joint's, witch stops a good power connection.
  3. ok well dat suck's well at least u know thow's bits work well it's worth a try changing it over. see if u can find some1 with a spare loom and ecu. if all good then u can buy with out worrying about wasting money. what ever it is i think its some sort of electrical prob. just going to take time to work out
  4. coil pack's is what i thinking its prob going to be. I don't think it will be a gasket. if it was a head gasket it would heat up fast and use alot of coolent. If it was sucking in unmetered air it would run rich as shit putting out a lot of black smoke. my mate had a 23 with a bad igniter witch made his gtr seam like it had a miss fire and lose of power. i would check out ur cas as well if they get to tight or seized the car will stop running my mates gtr had a bad cas as well. when the timing belt was done the lost the rubber seal off the timing cover witch made the cas sit closer to the cam gear bolts and they rubbed on the cas eating in to it a little making it very tight and just about to seize up coil pack some times when old crack and when the car gets warm they expand.

  13. yer i know that was his point. but build it to what can be used on the street every day with out the worry when it will give up. with what he bolted on i would have tuned it to about 390hp and just run 16psi. any how he did a good job getting the power he did. i talked about the rb30et because it was mentioned earlier in the post also 30 bottom ends are cheap as chips stronger than a 25 and the 25det head will go on with not much trouble and the motor will drop straight in with that said hope he did well with the new motor
  14. i know this was from a while ago but it was funny to read lol. also any 1 that think"s a 25 or 26 block is better than a 30 needs to read up about rbs. I love all rb motors if u had the money to stuff around with the 25 getting that power out of it ( claimed ) or run a 10.8 pass and not post it up so every 1 can see and i would not be a ass bout it But what i don't get is why? I have 2 rb25s 1 in a s1 stagea and 1 in a vl wagon and i like them good motor's. but i can tell u if i had that money i would drop a 26 in it or 3L the bottom end with my 25 head. Or if u really want u can bore out the 30 to a 3.2.. the other thing i not like about the 33 was the nos. only dick's run nos build the car do go 10.8 with out it. most jap drag cars don't use nos and some of the time's they get in the gtrs is like wow i just cream in my pants lol

  16. well maybe there should be sections for each car. u only have skylines 32,33,34 and stagea c34 s1,s2 and m35. why dont u block people leaving coments in things like parts and diy. if they would like to know some thing about the part or info on the diy that they are looking at then they have to pm who ever posted it. i think that would keep the parts and diy free of chat talk. the only 1 that can add to it is who ever posted it. so for like parts add in maybe sold or price bump

  18. hi my sight name is whitenight27. i would like to see if we can start up a stagea section in the western Australia part of the sight? would like it if able to be set out like this. Western Stagea's new part's / for sale used part's / for sale teck talk diy tips / info events / car cruise's just sick of people stuffing up good useful info with crap talk. its not a chat sight but a sight people come to get good info. if u can help out with this would be greatly appreciated. plus i am sure i am not the only member that thinks this thanks whitenight27
  19. i would be intro in a nistune but i have been told by Cred thet they do not make 1 for the s1 stagea. i am after a piggy back ecu. Cred told me that the s1 ecu controls the motor as well as the auto. so if u start modding the car the ecu dose not like it making it run rich, idle bad. they are telling me to get a heltec 2000. as for the 1 replacing tie rod ends i just done mine there the same as r34gtr or 350z. cost me about $110 each side. as for front drive shafts 32gtr 33gtr and 34gtr all the same and will fit. the 34 ones are a little longer in the spline on the diff end
