  5. Hate to say it - but I know what I was like in my 87 Pintara Wagon when I was 18 - I dont really like pondering certain outcomes if I had 200kw at the rear wheels at my disposal and a confidence to skill ratio way out of balance..... P Plate Training is not the only solution - power to weight ratio surely has to be just as important ... Tragic none the less.
  6. Good work lads - I'll be making an appearance shortly but this weekend Im going to be up the high country with a couple of mates (WRX & Porsche 928 owners) enjoying the alpine roads!
  7. OK thats a start - I run OK RCA's but nothing flash. The amp is a Jaycar Response 4ch (New). The leads run from HU left and along the passenger side of the car into the boot where the amp is on a nice shelf next to the battery which I spent ages making. The AMP is earthed to the same -'ve terminal as the battery ie that piece of metal with two nuts attaching it to the chassis. The +'ve lead rund from the battery no longer than 1ft to the amp. All power cables are as thick as my little finger (about 1cm ish). Suggestions?
