  1. Will do them 1500 freighted anywhere along east coast. bump.
  2. The drivability issues, lack of input/outputs, the only issue thats mentioned which is an actual known issue with the computer itself is the powerfc's little glitch. There work obviously doesnt speak well enough to promote it to the point were people are still going blackbox? wtf is that. If they dont have "time" to update there website they obviously dont value sales highly. for every person that isnt in sydney itself that could be a potential buyer as they come across this thread and read the great reviews it seems to get.. the website provides f**k all information that would encourage myself or anyone interested to buy such a computer. For the software download that is available on there website to not work is even more of a deterant. No... no its not considering this black box ecu has apparently been around since 2008 according to the copyright on its website, 5-6 years and if you mentioned "black box ecu" to A LOT of people in the car scene across the country i'd happily put money on it that 75% of them have never heard of it and no idea about it. Mention Vipec, Link, Haltech, Motec, microtech to all of those people and 100% of them would have heard of them all some good some bad. So the AVI on the plugin board which go to the factory AFM wiring were in use? The majority of those listed above also has onboard data logging in plugin versions. blaming it solely on the onboard map sensor only rated to 2.5 bar is a piss poor excuse. roughly 100-150 to put an external 3 bar map sensor in with out needing any additional wiring from the ecu by tapping into the factory harness. Alot of the drivability issues mentioned in this thread i'd actually blame on people using the internal map sensors as the vacume/boost line running from the intake manifold is that long there is a delay. It is always best to run your map sensor as close to the pressure source possible. Do that for me.. tell me how long is the vacume line to your map sensor with the black box ecu compared to when you were running the previous ecu? I run a Haltech PS2000 in my car and have played with a couple others including the vipec, the drivability gains from the putting in an external map sensor as close as possible to the intake manifold is amazing. my vacume line went from being almost 2 meters running inside onto the internal map and down to 15cm's onto the external map sensor with no changes to the mapping made it drove 1000 times better.
  3. As well if they were trying to push this ECU seriously they could update there bloody website, i downloaded what software was there and it wont even open up.
  4. Not trying to bad mouth anyone or any products.. but alot of the issues you guys seem to mention sound tuner related to me? it doesnt make sense, also you can buy an expansion harness for the Vipec/link plug ins which gives you another few imputs/outputs and you dont even need it to run an external map sensor. the external mapsensor can be wired in through the old AFM wiring. simple stuff really
  5. Bump, need these goneski. Freight with in qld shouldnt be much more than 100 using E-go outside of qld along east coast shouldnt be any more than 150-200 if you are seriously interested i'll get proper quotes and happy to work something out.
  6. You'll need to get it fabricated and honestly its not worth the hassle unless you are running massive twins and by massive i mean 2 big f**k offf top mounts. single 3.5" will support 750-800hp and 4" will support 1000hp. With the space you have under the gtr running twin 3" piping will be the biggest pain in the ass ever! I'm a boilermaker and do exhausts/ic piping as a hobbie on the side occasionally. i looked at doing it to my own car but it simply isnt worth the time money or stuff around that it'll take. Also the weight of a twin system would be double that of a single as you'll need 2 cats 2 or 4 mufflers and a cross over pipe as well if you dont incorporate that into the mufflers.. It can be done.. but its simply not worth doing
  7. The most you want on the front is a 9" rim, 10's on the back. 18x9 +30 front and 18x10 +18 for the rears to stick out a bit and 18x10 +38 for them to sit flush I highly recommend JDM concept for a decent set of jap wheels at a reasonable price. the BEST thing you could do is go and check what size wheels and tyres they are that you have on there now and get out your tape messure to check were the wheels will sit using http://www.rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp which will tell you everything you need to know.

  18. Exactly the point, and to make sure the testing was fair i ran them all on a stock car with minimal mods(not even my car) I did the tests quite a few years ago simply because i was curious to see just how much difference there was from coil to coil, the only new set of coils involved in the tests were's the yellow jackets, the stockers and splitfires were old ones of previous setups of mine and had done easily 20,000km's on the split fires and the stockers around 80,000km's Yes thats exactly it dickhead. why dont you go and pay for dyno time to test some coils and see what results come from it and tell me how much you feel like sharing your results for others to gain from? I performed the tests over 3 years ago stock car as i thought it was the only fair way to test back to back. I hope the shitty yellow things have improved A LOT since i tested them but i cringe when ever i see them on a car. The sad part of all with the test i performed is that the car idled nicer and felt smoother with those shitty yellow things on it but once the tests had been done both myself and the owner of the car where extremely suprised and shocked. Spark is not something you should cheap out on but if you are on a tight budget look into retro fitting LS series coils which can be had extremely cheap from the states. If you want the best there is out there.. BPP's CDI setup is the most impressive bolt on solution but comes at a cost and its not a complete bolt on plug and play.. you do need to snip and crim the 7 ignition wires into a new plug(supplied) to suit the new ignition harness.
