  9. No, not at this stage, its a non turbo head and the plenum is to suit it as it has the slightly smaller intake ports, i want to sell it together as i no longer need either of them PLEASE PM ME WITH QUESTIONS/OFFERS! Do not reply in thread as it could be days before i see it.
  10. got my old head up for sale as i've changed to a 26 head.. SUIT RECO! and is SET UP TO GO ON RB30 block with no vvt!! its an r34 rb25 non turbo neo head, has solid lifters would suit rebuild as the oil pump failed and its picked up in the cam journals slightly so it needs a line bore and a general reco, comes with standard camshafts which are still in good condition head has also been lightly ported. the head also comes with a RIPS custom intake manifold with 80mm throttle body.. the setup made 360rwhp on 12psi with a t04z, was very responsive on the 3litre i'm chasing $1200 + freight for the lot! the plenum and throttle body cost that alone.new! pm me for pictures and any further details.
  11. not to mention good f**king luck getting 200 for a stock cooler
  12. i'd leave 2.5 on hot side, if you have to replace the cold side or modify it in someway just go 3" you wont notice any extra lag.
  13. I'd be using a STOCK rb26 oil pump before i ever use an N1 pump again. N1 pumps are shit.
  14. go to justjaps website they have a decent range of intercoolers fairly well priced, also with the left over money you could buy some cams!
  15. I wouldnt worry about it it to much considering the numbers are very very even, as someone else said, put a couple drops of oil in through the plug hole and do the test again and also do a leak down test and it'll tell the story a bit better, i'd say its just old age and or probaly had a headgasket changed to a thicker item before you bought the car Slap your new turbo on and screw the boost into is what i'd be doing. Big thing i find with comp test results is from gauge to gauge it varys but as long as the numbers are with in 5% of each other she's still good!
  16. Reved to 7, limiter set at 7250, hardly hit the limiter. To anyone with a N1 pump on any engine.. i seriously suggest changing it as the pressure gear just isnt thick enough in the area's where it needs to be.. i will use a stock rb30E pump before i use an N1 pump again Car was run in on the dyno, was going strong untill she went bang, the oil pump is quite spectacular Crank and 2 of the rods are throw aways, pistons will be reused just have to decide what to do, but for now a bog stock rb30e bottomend has gone in just to get the car mobil again. when i can see the funnier side to it.. i'll throw up pics around the place, i really have to give it to the spool rods considering the heat damage that they have copped i honestly dont know how they didnt bend and leave the block
  17. Problem solved.... N1 pump anialated, not really anyone to blame but wrong choice of pump for setup/usage All bearings are well f**ked.. time for a external wet sump setup on new one
