Does everyone think that Series 2 are much better than series 1 R33's because of the ABS and Airbags?

Hi guys, I'm a Newbie to Skylines and cars in general. I'm looking at an R33 (not sure what series) tomorrow. It's white, manual, turbo, no mods except GTR bodykit and exhaust. Apparently the interior is a pig of a car but the engine has been rebuilt recently due to a friend blowing up their engine. Price is $7k cash. (I only have $8k). What should I look out for when I inspect the car? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers guys, Sanjay
