thanks ive checked fuses but il double check starter connections. when it clicks as the ignition is on does that means its cranking?

ok so ive fixed it a little plugged an earth i missed. but it still wont start it now pups fuel in... it ticks once right when you turn the key. when you say hit it with hammer which area do i hit it?

my car wont start.. ive just put a de in. it doesnt even crank.. its no the battery what could it be?? any ideas im desperate?

also its not the battery i swapped the battery from my mates skyline that battery definately does work

hey guys ive just recently completed an engine swap.. my r33 had a blown rb25de so i got one real cheap and swap it. now ive plug everything in right (i think) i went to to start he car (all the acc work ok) but the car wont start or crank... its like its not even plugged in.. whats causing this? and does anyone know how i can fix it???? please help

when standing at the front of the car what is the little pump thing to the right of the radiator? is this part essential where do the hoses on it got too? and is this part on a N/A?

no i didnt bleed it im about to do that now. i no this is a stupid question but master cylinder is the on connected to the pedal right? and slave is on the gearbox?

Gday guys just seeking some advice tried searching but couldnt find much. The deal is swapped my engine because it was fooked. As you may know i had to pull the clutch line out of the gearbox. I have now put it back on to the same gearbox filled the the line up but theres still know clutch pressure it just hits he floor when i depress it. I actually havent started the new engine in the car does this matter like does the engine have to be running to get pressure? its a r33 rb25

Yeah i its had one swap this will be the second. I bought it because i got it very very cheap and its got a whole lot of gear on it like coilovers mad interior, gtr radiator gtr cluster kaaz to way diff, awesome soundsystem. You wernt adding flame you were just expressing your opinion in a positive way. And you didnt jump to conclusions. Thanks for your advice il have a look for sure!

Ok so explain hiw its more stuffing round. Ecu plugs straight in loom plugs straight in. Engine bolts into the same place. All the sensors go straight in (except for boost /vaccum sensors) so its exactly the same as swapping a rb25det in terms of stuffing round. Also this forum shits me. You mention your a p-plater everyone just cooks ya. Anyway im one step ahead of you negative dicks. It originally had a rb25de in it therefore thats what the plate says rb25de making it completely and utterly legal (trust me ive checked). Also if i wanted to sell it i would be posting in the classified section dont you think? I love this car i have a connection i dont see it as an object it has character otherwise i wouldnt be going to all this trouble

I'm the bloke doing this swap. Actually its exactly the same amount of stuffing around. i am a p-plater so therefore de is the way and i dont give a shit about the car being devalued. i hope its looking less silly now

il take a photo of it when i get home its on the the bottom right hand sid eof the gear box and its got wires coming out from it. im pretty sure its the speedo sensor? im under the impression that the r33s have this? doing the box tonight

What is involved in undoing the gearbox from the block is it hard. The engines still in the car. How do you get yhe sensor at the bottom out? This is for a r33

Ok so i am very much in luck. It turns out the car was originally a de. Meaning that its complinance/rego plates show it has a de not a det. So the guy who owned it put the det into it. So im going to have this check but in theory i should be legally able to drive the car. So does any one have hints when putting this motor in? Sorry about the bad spelling before i was writing it off a iphone and its hard as to do. Thanks for all the replies though!
