  1. Hi Fella's, Great to hear you all enjoyed the evening. We enjoy having you guys there not only as a business but as a great bunch of people having a lot of fun. We've now got the Rally and Sprintcars up and running so the next thing we'll focus on is Jap cars and drift cars. All the best from all of the crew at SimWorld. Tom Kennedy
  2. Here's a heap of photos from the evening. Regards, Tom Kennedy SimWorld Entertainment
  3. Hi Fella's, Glad to hear you all enjoyed it. I'll try to upload some photos over the weekend. We had a great time and really enjoyed crankin the Angels up on the jukebox with the Crash N Burn cars in action. We are looking at having a New Years Party with a Dukes of Hazzard theme and having some Daisy Dukes serving the food. We'll dress up Baily as Boss Hogg. I'll keep you posted if it goes ahead. We'll work on a limited amount of tickets on a first in first served basis - with a "No Dickheads Allowed" policy. We're just waiting on the go ahead from Westfield. All the best and thank you for your business, Tom Kennedy SimWorld Entertainment
  4. Tested out the R34 around Nurburgring over the weekend. Everything is looking good at our end. The car handles really well. I've set the Easy setting the same as Medium so that everyone runs at a similar setting. We wouldn't want someone to pick easy and leave everyone for dead. You'll have the ability to turn the traction control to off/low/medium/high while driving. There are 4 view settings - Default view - Inside the car looking out the dash Bonnet view - looking over the bonnet Front view - Viewing from the front with none of your car in site Tail cam (hard to drive as the motion doesn't compliment the visual movement of the car doesn't work well together Easy/Medium - Medium steering and braking help - High traction control - Auto resumes in 8 secs after leaving the gear shifter alone Hard - No steering or braking help - medium traction - Auto resumes in 30 secs after leaving the gear shifter alone The cars have a clutch but the software is set on autoclutch to prevent everyone from stalling when they crash. You can drop the clutch anytime and it will work as a normal clutch would. If you select Easy/Medium the cars will start in auto, when you touch the sequential shifter it will change to manual. If you leave the gears alone for 8 secs it will revert back to auto If you select Hard you will need to put the car in gear at the start - it will then run in auto. If you touch the gears it will change to manual and stay in manual. If you leave the shifter alone for longer than 30sec it will revert back to auto again. So there you go. 5. Alrighty, R34's it is then. Sorry we are fresh out of R32's. Sold the last one yesterday Thanks, Tom Kennedy SimWorld Entertainment
  6. Yes our website is lacking and should have been completed 2 weeks ago. You can walk in and have a go when ever you want just like a normal arcade. We are open from 10am-10pm except for Mon and Wed when we may close at 8pm. Have a look at his video as this is the Skyline model we'll be using. I was told it is modelled after the R32. Don't forget to bring your own ice for the coolers that we'll supply. BYO alcohol allowed. All the best, Tom Kennedy SimWorld Entertainment
  7. Hi Guys, I'm Tom from SimWorld. Glad to see you're coming in to take on the mountain with the Skylines. We've been spending some time testing the engine performance and handling characteristics so you all have a great time. If you commit to keeping your foot flat through the chase you'll get the Skyline to wind out to 300km/hr. We've recently held a corporate function with the guys from TT Auto Services and the owner of TT's reported back that they had the best corporate function ever and that everyone has raved about how much fun they had. If you're not sure of going - just do it otherwise you'll hear from the other guys how much fun they had and you'll have missed out. These machines will test your ability and stamina like you've never experienced in an arcade environment. We've also got pinball machines, video games and a jukebox so you can get the whole shop pumping while you take on your mates. (AC/DC through to Triple J) This isn't another Twinklezone for the kids but a place where kids and adults can have an absolute blast at something that is only available here in Western Australia. Nando's will be supplying hot food and it is really great. BYO alcohol has been allowed by Westfield so you can bring in a few drinks and enjoy the evening. I'll be there on the microphone organising the races over the PA system so everyone knows what is happening. For $70 a head for 2hrs of fun including food you will be blown away with the evening. Here's a youtube link showing our 2000HP A9X in action at LeMans in our previous arcade - it gives you an idea of what the simulators are like. We have since updated the new simulators with Velo Racing Seats, HiFi 5.1 sound system and 42" LED monitors. Ya'll be there!! Tom Kennedy SimWorld Entertainment www.simworld.com.au 9451 3134
