  3. Hey mate I have not used the plenum on my car. Got to far ahead of myself when buying parts for mods. But because of the shorter intercooler piping you do get much better throttle responce (have driven a friends skyline with a similar setup) feels very snappy like a SR20.
  4. Hey mate I have got a Inlet plenum that you may be interested in. R33 GTS-T Custom Plenum $320 ( Has Plenum, Throttle body, TPS, Inlet manifold gasket and all bolts. Bolts onto std R33 (RB25) inlet runners) Pm me if your interested mate
  5. I have got a Rb25de Bottom end mostly complete Have also got Rb25DE fuel rail, injectors, Cam's few other bits and peices I can't think of at the moment.

  7. I have one of the new sony PS2's and mine is working sweet as. Have not had any troubles at all from it (touch wood)
  8. if you are after a good cooler at a really good price give the guys at Shift Performance a call. I get most of my parts through them. They are really top blokes! I picked up my GTR Spec intercooler for $350 from them.
  9. In Qld As long as it is not an Oiled filter and it is held tightly with a bracket so that it can not move they are fine.
  10. the new one runs on 8.5 volts and also uses a ac to dc converter pack. It also does not have a fan built into it (at least I cant hear one on mine)
  11. My Dad thaught I was nuts buying a "datsun" and thaught that I should of goten a Rx7 because he is a rotor nut. My Mum thaught I was nuts because it was a slow Jap car and would never beat her evo 3 My Step Dad (mum's) thaught I was nuts because it would never beat his Vl Brock Commo. And yes the whole "you can't get parts for them" and everything comes up but in the end it is your car and you have to be happy with it. I got mine when I was 18 and I could not be happier. Your dad will carry on and on. It's most likely just his nature.
  12. im currently running on the r33 std ecu.. Power Fc goes in on monday have been running it for a while now
  13. translation I have a problem with my car ever since I installed a apexi s-afc II...OK the problem is when I start the car when the engine is cold it starts but the rpm only reads 400-450 and seems that it is going to stall but doesn't and what I noticed is that the boost gauge is reading boost on 0 but the car is only at idle how could the boost gauge read 0? I thought it was the apexi s-afc II but I have had it tuned and the problem is still there. When I drive the car and the engine warms up the problem goes away. It only seems to happen when the engine is cold. can anyone help? my mods are: HKS bov full exhaust pod apexi s-afc II
  14. Fantastic Good luck to the couple
  15. Hey guys I am running R33 with a RB30Det (curent mods listed below) and want to have my GTR intercooler put onto the car as well. Only thing is I don't want the car to lean out and go bang. I will be putting in a bigger fuel pump as well when the intercooler goes on. So hopefully this will push a little more fuel through again. I am running stock boost and also have my power fc on the way from nengun. So as soon as it gets here I will have a proper tune done on the car. As well as my fuel pressure reg and a few extras put on the car. I am just looking for some confirmation that it should be fine. I know that people do quite a bit with the stock ecu with the RB25. I hope that I have explained what I am asking well enough. Thanks guys
  16. nothing to do with bigger injectors and other mods. If you drive your skyline around a track or do any mountain runs. As you get lower on fuel. The fuel that is in your Fuel tank splashes around more and more with each turn or sudden hit of the acclerator you do. If you get really low and then hit the gas all of a sudden your fuel pump is sucking in air not fuel. What a surge tank does is gives a compensation for this time. Normal fuel pump fills up the surge tank. That is now its job Surge tank feeds your new external fuel pump that is feeding the engine its fuel. You go hard around the turn. Fuel in fuel tank gets pressed hard against the wall, Fuel pump can't get any fuel to your motor. BUT the surge tank is nice and full with 1L of fuel in it. You take off and become the next king of the track. Its not a necisity. But if you do let your fuel drop below say 1/4 and you are at a track day it will help. hope that helps
  17. My flywheel was machined and had the new clutch put in for $300. Although my engine has only done about 10,000 (Ten Thousand) Km's

  22. On the topic of External Fuel pump's. I have got a Bosch 909 fuel pump. I am curious about how to set it up externaly on a R33 gts-t. Can it be done without a surge tank set up like the VL?
