  2. Hey Dan Originaly myself and a mate built it but had a few problems so I took it to Power Break and Enginering (near Harrys Diner) They pulled out my original build - rebuilt/ balanced the whole botom end - rebuilt mild port of the head - put it all back together - put it in the car and got it working for $2500 the engine is completly balanced - bored 10 though and runs awsome! Just waiting to put on my fmic and power fc now and Ill be almost all done with the 33
  3. When I did my Rb30det conversion the RB25DET Water pump would NOT fit onto the Rb30 block. One of the top left bolts is out of alignment a few mm to the right. I had to use a RB25DE water pump to make it fit onto the 30 block.
  4. Hey guys. I have read up on doing the piping back to the stock inlet pipes and have since borowed a mig welder to give it a go. My question is. How do you mount a GTR style intercooler onto a R33 GTS-T? Any hints, tips or diy guides out there? Thanks guys
  5. All fixed up Thanks guys
  6. Go the RB30 Awsome engine with power all over the place - on boost at 1600rpm.
  7. good on you mate thats a nice power rating for little mods.
  8. Hey guys Just after a bit of advice on intercooler piping. I have got a GTR FMIC ready to go onto the car and I was thinking of having a pipe run back from the outlet side of the intercooler back to the stock piping and back into the motor. I have got a Frount Facing plenum as well but have figured that it would be better to play with that (much) later on when I go with a bigger turbo and injectors etc etc. Then when I am ready to do all of my other mod's also have the new fmic piping made up to suit. The cost of having this piping done up should be HEAPS cheaper than a full setup. I could wrap the stock pipes in thermal wrap no problems as under bonnet looks means nothing to me. I know a few people have done this. Just wondering how it went for you?
  9. Intercooler piping for $300?? $300 for a Power Fc Tune???
  10. Has anybody in QLD got there 30's enginered yet? I have got rego coming up soon and want to get a mod plate for it so I can update my details. If so where did you get it done?
  11. Yes there are bonnet issues. I have a series one and the bonnet rubs on the plenum I would assume that this will be the same with the S2
  12. R33 here as well
  13. definatly agree. R34 in un experianced hands NOT a good idea.
  14. what games are included?
  15. Thanks heaps man!! Thats exactly the peices that I have to remove!
  16. Hey guys I’m about to send the car in to get some damage fixed up. The smash repair guys said that it would be cheaper for me if I remove the interior myself (Passenger door and rear passenger side interior). Getting the door trim off – No problems Pulling out the rear seats – No problems Removing the rear interior… NO IDEA???!!!! Any help would be great guys. The car goes in on Tuesday so I have to pull it out on Monday evening after work. Thanks for your help guys

  19. Hey guys. Have finaly finished the panels. and OMG they look awsome! Very very happy with the results. But it did take me 2 days to do it though. Yesterday - Removed all of the dash - console etc etc (also rewired my stereo and installed boost guage into driver side air vent) Spent about 3 hours yesterday sanding back the panels. Be sure to use a FINE grade sandpaper. Rough stuff just rips it appart and gives a really bad finish. Then sprayed with plastic primer. Left that for 30/40 mins to dry... Then did that again 3 times. After that First up was a light coat of my blue. gave that an hour to dry.. then did that again 3 times. Gave it away for the night to let the paint realy set well. Got up early today and sprayed on the Gloss. Gave it a real shine. Did the same as before 3 times with an hour between each coat. Left it till later on in the afternoon and put it back together. I will post up some pic's tomorow Over all VERY happy with the result.
  20. I'm about to do mine as well probaly on sunday. I figure if you use a good amount of clear gloss that should help look after it a little
  21. *Edited* Dropped prices on some of the parts. Need to move them on. Also updated sales.
  22. hey mate I looked at the "esky" type thing and i really dont like the idea of having to carry ice around everywhere I go. I would much rather have a more perminant solution rather than somthing just melting away. In that thread they were talking about the BMW one that could be modified to suit and mounted somwhere in the frount bar.
  23. hey guys I have done a serch on this and found a little bit of info about it. But not enough! I have done a serch through www.capa.com.au and they recomended that there oil coolers are also able to "make a great fuel cooler to". Found out that the Range Rovers - Bmw's etc etc also use a fuel cooler. Now this got me really interested so off I set to super cheap/repco etc etc They have got off the shelf Transmition Oil Cooler kit for 6cyl cars. Would somthing like that be suitable for Fuel cooling? Next time im back there I will have a bit more of a look for what pressure it can take. Unless sombody has an idea as to what a tranny usally runs at pressure wise. Any extra info would be great guys Take it easy
  24. Do Kazaa diff have a website or anything like that?
  25. your definatly correct joel. It is a very easy reving motor. At any time it will put power to the wheels and just keep going. I have a question for you still running it on the STD R33 ECU.. What other mods do you currently have on the car as well as your RB30? How are your A/F ratio's etc? Just curious
