  1. The point is I don't really care what I look like
  2. Tony you are being completely disingenuous to yourself lol
  3. Dude I started in the trade. I am sick of Bunta's crap hence the return of fire The start of that exchange was me recommending Ross trigger kits to Ants and then see Bunta's unhelpful and deliberately antagonistic response. Ps: lawyers always argue back - hence the continuation lol
  4. You got me, but 14 year old and attic lol
  5. Sorry I didn't realise Bunta was your mate
  6. Frosty I am convinced that you wouldn't even agree with your breakfast lol
  7. Yeh mate and he won't get a job in a noted firm
  8. The only bullshit comes from you I posted up some useful information and then in response you then posted up bullshit.
  9. That's the best you got... is the guy clever enough to hold a law degree too - again ask yourself
  10. Hmmm slight contradiction on the Ross front, but you seem like a pretty complicated guy lol Here's the killer for your argument about how a simple monkey can make it... Nissan couldn't get it right - Feel free to verify with your best mate Richard Cranium For anyone who is interested, I exclude you Bunta (because you're such a knowledgeable guy) - Have you ever tried to bend a pen? If you hold it midway... it doesn't work but if you lengthen it and support it at the quarter way mark then the pen bends/wobbles... now if you add a trigger wheel to the front of the crank to extend out the front what happens?????
  11. I thought you stopped posting, as your keyboard was clearly bigger than everyone else's. Balance is critical. If it was so simple, why didn't you make one up yourself??? PS: I am actually fully trade qualified (Ask Ants) and build RB engines myself in what little spare time I have outside law. My latest build is 390AWKW SAU member's engine. Have you even touched or used the Ross trigger system, or just posting that they suck for the sole purpose of trying to contradict me? Notice I put smiley faces, therefore it's a friendly post.
  12. Out of interest.. what machine do you use?
  13. Other than an uneven cut out wheel on a 6 cylinder that are known for engine destroying harmonics.
  14. Sorry? Surely you aren't saying a complete balance is unimportant? 1.02 -1.05
  15. Interested, who does this kit?
  16. Which is why I said the principle is simple enough, but balance only needs to be out a bit for the system to stuff up the signal and cause issues. Ross did plenty of R&D to arrive at a good system, but I agree it is expensive.
  17. Yes they are expensive. The principle is simple enough Motec and other companies have the sensors, it's just a p in the a to get a trigger wheel to balance and work properly.
  18. Point is see who has what balancing machines to determine the best place to send it. I am not sure about QLD.
  19. Chris the most important part is the balancing. GCG although not local (Sydney) have a Schenck balancing machine that is one of the best. They are very good and price competitive. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_DtpNHkHYRQ
  20. Any dings Pete?
  21. He'll need more than two, too many klms on the clock lol Sorry Ants, it was too tempting lol
  22. Just do a coupe of late returns on the side - Joking
  23. LOL
  24. Re CAS - This link may be of interest: http://blog.rossperformanceparts.com/new-crank-angle-sensor-mount-with-sensor-for-nissan-rb-engines/
  25. Unfortunately, with the motor on its way out you would be looking at the same amount as the lowest trade in value, namely, around $11,800. You may be better off parting the car out, if you have the skills/time to do this yourself. http://www.redbook.com.au/cars/research/used/details/1995-nissan-skyline-bcnr33-111628?R=111628&Silo=spec&Vertical=car&Ridx=9&eapi=2 To get the thing back to where it needs to be with engine rebuild and other repairs would be around the 15k mark as a rough estimate depending on how bad it is. Another benchmark car is a 1996 bright green skyline GTR V-Spec with all the fruit, but some interior and bits missing for $11k. It has been on the market unsold for quite a while http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/mount-warren-park/cars-vans-utes/1996-r33-gtr-nissan-skyline-v-spec-repairable-write-off/1031209389
