Well Said jake32.. Well said! The cost of buying GTR's (decent) has gone up in Japan, and looking at the stock from the currently available list- I wouldn't touch em'. You cant beat the piece of mind of taking the car for atest drive yourself before you go blow 4 years of debt! I am with Jake32 on this. If you honestly think you will get lucky and import a car that is everything you want to save $2-3K then do it! Take the Risk. I am fairly confident that if the car is any good, at the end of the day you will be pushing close to $25K anyway!. Good luck- I am outa here

I agree with alot of what mcmn is saying there are alot of very high priced 32 GTR's out there but they are consistent with the price you pay R33 GTR as well. Are you saying that as an average joe off the street you can get a GTR landed complied/engineered/RWC and registered for $20K. :bs!: Unless you are the importer yourself or know someone very well then this price is a little bit conservative. Buying a car sight unseen, that is not roadworthied for $20000 is high risk.. not many people want to take this risk.. you may have a nice looking car but it could be a big lemon requiring alot of $$$ to get it to roadworthy standard. This could be tappet leaks/seals gone, or a rust problem which seems to be a big issue with alot cars from Japan. To be honest for all the hastle of getting the car here and up to standard- $25K is a very very reasonable price. As far as the interior issues you mention?? well you are obviosly going throught the wrong dealer. Apart from 2 small cigarette burns in the back seat, my interior on my GTR is perfect. so in reply to your issue of all 89 cars having higher miles due to bad interiors I would say not true. Generally speaking the rule of thumb at the moment is that for $22K-$25K you get a fairly ordinary GTR and above that you get something better. But I assure you there are genuine Good GTR's (like mine) for sale that are high quality not flogged imports. Chhers

Depending on how many mods etc there are on the vehicle I will be selling for between 24-26K This is fully landed/complied/roadworthy ready for rego. All imports are between 3.5 to 4 grade (trust me when I tell you that if someone advertises a grade 4 import or higher for an 89 model they are likely to be full of it. Cars will have approx 80,000Km. cheers

Car is in excellent condition both inside and out and drives beautifully. Gearbox is very tight and smooth and throttle response is perfect! R6 does not accelerate from 120km to 180km nearly as well as the gtr. This things seriously accelerates from 100-180 at the same speed as it accelerates from 0-80. mind you it is a hell of alot more comfortable in a GTR then on a Bike at these speeds. - Lets not start a debate on how fast bikes are because obviously as I own one I know all about power to weight etc.. was just indicating that I was very impressed with the pulling power of the GTR to overtake at high end speeds.

Car Is still being sold as best offer above 25K.. will not be going below that.... The car will be sold with no rego.. If it arrives unsold, obviously I will register it to get it to townsville. As mentioned there is a guy in Sydney awaiting finance approval.. he has first dibs.. should know by tomorrow.. I have my doubts as to whether GTR's will be available for 17g in the future.. Due to this 15 year rule there has been a huge demand recently and they are boosting there prices accordingly.. Will post update on potential sale tomorrow

All the mods I have on this car Are listed on the Web site.. Other than that the car is pretty close to standard, but in immac. cond. It does however now have 18" wheels.. At the moment I have someone in Sydney inquiring about finance.. If he falls through the car will be coming to Townsville.. I have no probs takling it to cairns either! Car is in country Thurs.
