I drive from West - North Sydney and back every day. It's prob's cause i only see school's on main roads. I'd guess there is less of an importance to get flashing lights in backstreet schools.

Looking for 2 wheels to get my R33 back on the road until shipments of the wheels i actually want come into the country. Looking to get a hold of them ASAP. Hoping to pick up. Not looking for expensive || new || flashy wheels, factory stock's or stealies will do for a few weeks. ( I can use them for skids later ) the cheaper the better! X neighbor road line painter says go for it (he recons there are a bunch of legalities with the paint markings that i could claim.) at $220 each to repair it looks like I'm now in the market for 2 new(or used) Advanti Racing 18" Stalker wheels, a set of 4 stock R33 GTS-T wheels or it's time for a totally new look. Either option, a giant "thanks alot" to Baulkham Hills council for putting it there & Mother Nature for conspiring to for force this upon me.

Last night, driving home in the wet i came around the corner at a set of lights, as you go around the corner the road turns down a hill and about 5m after the corner is a giant concrete Island that makes the lane really thin. This thing is barely visible in the dry but in the wet i had no chance of seeing it. Anyway long story short I hit the damn thing quite firmly (wasn't driving stupidly) and it has damage both drivers side wheel's and the front bar. puncturing the front and there is a crack in the rear tyre side wall, but it hasn't gone flat, Yet. Now there is no street lights there, no keep left sign or anything on this island to suggest it's there. I went up there this arvo and the concrete island is covered in rubber marks and has mass damage all over it from other people hitting it. My question is, Has anyone ever tried to get the council to foot a bill? If so, how'd it go? NOTE: not after legal advice, after experience stories only.
