  1. Np anytime...im sick of people ripping people off
  2. Hey Howaitonaito, First of all matty, stating that 2 grand isn't going to cover a wald kit is a joke and you should be ashamed for stating that. Howaitonato, if you are not fussed at the kit being original wald, then I recommend you to go on google and search up Carmate in NSW. They have the wald replica available for our cars and the price for all the skirts out of FRP is just over 1 grand delivered to your state. The original wald kit is also made of FRP. Another kit I recommend is the Gialla replica on Bodykits kingdom. To get a genuine Gialli kit would cost thousands alone, but it can be had for 850 bucks + delivery.
  3. Hello Armada, I'm just reading through these forums and came across this thread. I know the feeling of finding a reputable v35 specialist around Vicdstoria so I want to recommend the workshop I goto called IREV IMPORTS in Bayswater. The owner is Nuwan and he has dealt with everything with the V35 and has heaps of spare parts available for our cars as he imports whole V35's, V35 half cuts, V35 wrecks etc. The difference with Nuwan and other workshops out there is that he really looks after you with pricing and he is very understanding to regular people like ourselves, who are not loaded with cash and spend all our money on cars. I find that most workshops charge premium price because of our cars being a grey import and claim that they have heaps of experience, which isn't fair. Just as a true pure example, my engine is going to be rebuilt starting tomorrow and the price - 5500 dollars including new gaskets, pistons, rings, valve heads..everything and all the parts are directly from Nissan Japan. So far, I have had new sound system put in, fixed the creaking compression rods, fixed the creaky rear drive shafts and had my general servicing. His service including oil and filter is 100 bucks!!!. As a true testiment to his work, he is currently working on european exotics for compliance, converting x2 mustangs for Australian roads (one of them being a TIM ALLEN special and the other a bright orange Saleen Mustang) and a lot of the aussie ford boys are even going to him. Give Nuwan a shot, his number is 0422 807 393
  4. Its all good mate...
  5. I wouldnt mind turning up but can I suggest that we get a briefing and maps for rhis cruise as the last one, we didnt know what was going on and got mixed up with the wrong group going to princess hiway...
  6. This would have to be one of the most disorganised cruises ive been to. Everyone left without a briefing
  7. Looks like the cruise is washed out guys...
  8. Looks like victorian weather has let us down once again...just saw lightening and we all know what that means...
  9. Hello guys, Just to let you know for all you guys in Victoria that tomorrow night, there will be a skyline meet at Pines Shopping Centre in Doncaster. For more information, goto the Victoria/Events section and enter the thread called "Apple Peel Comeback". I will be going tomorrow in my V35 sedan/maxima if all is well and hope that other V35's will tag along. It seems that I'm the only V35/V36 owner interested in this cruise at the moment so it will be good to see others out there to rally support . It will be also good to catch up with the members who were in our last meet up to Dandenong and to Chris' place for a BBQ. Pm me or show an interest to the cruise in the thread.
  10. Hey guys, I've been eyeing this cruise for quite some time and I'll be turning up in the v35 sedan/maxima tomorrow evening. I'll probably be the slowest out of you boosted guys out there but it should be fun. I'll make a mention in the v35 forums of this cruise to see whether other V35's will be keen to come for a night into town. The only thing that is holding me back is that my car is still in the panel beaters getting a small crack fixed in the front bumper, but they gave me updates today and said that it will be ready tomorrow....I hope
  11. Im in petit....
  12. Cn u ship across...being a small item it wouldnt cost much...ill cover costs
  13. I wouldnt mind the gear knob...are you in victoria?
  14. Hello, Im not sure whether this is the right area but I would like to share my experience at Irev. As we all know, it can be difficult to source a good workshop who know our cars very well and some, who claim that do, charge premium dollar for their service. Nuwan at Irev isn't like this as he understands that everyone, irregardless of background, deserves to have good service for our cars. So far Ive had a full stereo install to fixing my dreaded axle click issue and replacing my compression rod bushes. He also stocks some interesting aftermarket goodies for our v for people who want to have a unique v. Nuwan also specialises in other grey imports too and from my research, has had a good mention in the mitsu evo forums. I can tell you he can pretty much take our v apart with his eyes closed. He is a very patient guy and is a easily contactable. His location is in Bayswater Victoria and number is 0422807393. From my observation from talking with his customers, people travel from far away places to see him
  15. If you are in Victoria get in contact with Nuwan at Irev (Google him). Top guy to deal with, who deserves a mention on this forums due to his knowledge and kick.arse prices when dealing with our v series skylines. He did mine using nulathane bushes.
  16. Hey guys..ill come to the meet but wont be able to watch.the movie as my radio has suddenly died on me...
  17. Ill bring the maxima..oh I mean the v35 sedan along lol...my friend might also tag along too
  18. Hello guys, I'm not sure whether I'm showing signs of paranoia or what, but I may be getting the dreaded synchro issue that plagued the earlier 03 v35/350Z 6MT. You see I've got an 03 V35 sedan in 6MT, and whenever I try to shift from 1st to 2nd I get some kind of resistance and sometimes get a slight clunk (fortunately, no grind YET). FYI I DO wait until the gearbox has warmed up and when I first got the car, I did a full fluids flush so therefore, there are new fluids in the car since late last year. I want to prep up for the future as I was advised that these are earlier signs of synchro failure (unless someone can reassure me otherwise that this is NORMAL). I got two choices, (1) To either rebuild the box locally, which may cost between 2000-3000 AUD or (2) Import a brand new updated box (Nissan Part 32010-CD009) from the USA for about 2000+ AUD including delivery. I was wondering if anyone has experienced the same problem and what they did to rectify it?? Will I run into fitment and compatibility issues if I decide to go for the US gearbox?? Whatever path I'll take, I'll probably replace the OEM clutch and flywheel to new spanking items. Thank You
