  1. thanks for that....I'll have to add, a lot of JPN tv is fkn weird. Entertaining, but fkn weird. Although they did have a wide range of adult entertainment available on the hotel room tv, which went unused but was appreciated nonetheless.
  2. Yeah but with ign off, injectots should have no power.
  3. If that should ever haprn? Contest it in a court of law.
  4. What ecu? The 2ndhand wolf ecu i picked up seems to do the same thing.
  5. Buy evo kit, try it. Sell to me cheap if it doesn't fit. Win. Well, win for me. But really, i'm similar, have 17in drifteks and think it mayyyy squeeze in but would be tight. Saw evo10 brakes last weekend, theyre huge.
  6. I went rb25det to rb25 de to rb25det...its the long way to go about it but boy was it worth it. Was everything i thought it would be, and had previously.
  7. yo...so, been working on cars a long time and running out of things to do on my current car, an s2 R33. Have a workshop here with everything for pressing (eg bearings, suspension bushes), MIG welding, wheel alignment, general metalwork equipment, diagnostic equipment, minor engine tuning, etc and every tool you'd need. On the northside of Brissy so anyone who's needing something done but lacks tools/space/knowledge to do the job then send me a pm with what you need done, happy to help out if I can. Known to help a brother out if minor or work for a bottle of rum or cheap $$$. Not any kind of fulltime thing, but I like to work on cars so if you're a bit stuck then give us a shout.
  8. what size wheels you have over these son?
  9. ok yes the downpipe is worth it but make sure downpipe is bellmouth type, and if you can port-match it even better. My own testing back to back, split did not make as much power as bellmouth.
  10. Yeah just make sure you get one for a 6 cylinder if yr putting it on a skyline cos my mate put one on and now it only runs on 4 cylinders so we think he got sent a 4 cylinder one by mistake.
  11. could someone tell me what a burnout is, I feel left out.
  12. Even surface rust on the inside of the disc will make it tough to slide back on, i've found.
  13. tyres tyres...had Federal RSR 255/40/17 on the rear but 9000's ks and down to treadwear indicator...annoying thing is, HEAPS of trad left in side blocks, they're built very well for that. Looking at either Potenza Adrenalin RE003 or Dunlop Direzza DZ102, in a 235/45/17. Apparently that Dunlop tyre suits well in warm weather, might do well in the permanent summer of Qld?
  14. wait, are you also performance-wise under a different login? this post is your ONLY recent activity??
  15. I swear you are the underrated comedian of this site, tht's gold.
  16. if it's a reasonably common issue too yes...but that's not been my experience. How many have you seen melt and in what conditions?
  17. to add to that, any coil that melts when used on an engine is shit, unless the engine is on fire. It should be engineered to withstand all ranges of use for its' given application.
  18. ^^^ was going to say, wtf dude...you don't buy 'home brand' just to find out it is actually 'home brand' quality. You know that's what you'll get...although to be fair their product is accurately marketed as such. Also, there's a lot of talk about Splitfire and oem in the same class/quality. How do Splitfire, an aftermarket manufacturer, get that reputation? Earned it. Didn't sell a shit product for years then start crying cause no-one would believe the product was now massively better. Prove it.
  19. ^^yes...and then turn them left to get euro-gape.
  20. give it more choke on startup. But sizzirslsy, I get that every now and then, the turn and bam start, but most of the time it's a few chugs. Unless you put brand new plugs in every week, you might be chasing shadows?
  21. Remove boost pressure line connected to fuel tank.
  22. It is a long and complicated process to fix...which i did by just not putting nozzle in to the hilt, leave it out by 25mm
  23. i googled 'japanese orange handle' and the top result was this so clearly they are a knife of some kind, you just need to sharpen them OP.
  24. your attitude towards unidentified orange handles scares me. It's entirely inappropriate. Or, ..... quite possibly very appropriate....as they're yet to be identified.
