  1. well, write a serious post, then you will probably get serious comments. Otherwise...well, you get the picture. But, will leave you to your sale. PS i have decided to use 2 solar powered superchargers so will no longer need the 3 turbos, thank you for the offer of assistance with installation though.
  2. mate it's been 45 seconds and u haven't replied, are u serious seller or not>>>???
  3. well do u have another one, or not?? oh yeah and my 3 turbos too
  4. hey hands off my heat shield. I am now doing a quad-turbo setup, so will need another 2 shields if u have some spares to sell. I have hand-made one out of an old garbage bin lid but still need 2 more to realise my dream. I will also need 3 turbos. I am on a budget so they don't need to be the same sort, prefer they are in working cond tho.
  5. actually i will need another one as well, cause i have decided to do a triple turbo setup, do u have 2 lying about?
  6. hey mate how much u after for this? alredy have a turbo with heat shield but might need another one if i do my twin turbs setup
  7. still for sale, ask those who have seen them in person, they are a very nicely finished item.
  8. good deal. I'll grab em if homeboy doesn't
  9. " I drive up and down a mountain range each day," lol, go the Kuranda hey I would still like to do this, but been paying attention to the bumps more now since I been thinking about it, and man these roads really are pretty rough in alot of places. Need to stiffen it up though, have already scraped my new front mount a couple of times with the car pitching forward when going into some of the ridiculously angled driveways we have here.
  10. tein super streets specs http://www.tein.co.jp/search/search1.cgi?act=ITEM&item=SS&make=NISSAN〈=en
  11. just FYI, I replaced the 5 adjustment bolts with high tensile ones and washers, cost me all of $1.63 at Boltmasters....solid as a rock. Fitted one to my motor today, perfect fit, and runs great, all sales pitch aside, for an hour of work and a few $$ one of the easiest gains ever. $50 plus about $7 for postage anywhere in oz, trying to keep my parts shelf clear lol.
  12. Tein website lists r33 super streets as being 4/4. Thought it was abit unusual at the time, pretty much everything else on there is a split rate. Thanks for the offers of drives, all the way up in Cairns tho
  13. lol, better review than mine...same gears as what I got, the ozsome ones.
  14. Not really. In my 3s-gte motor, when doing the buildup, I used the stock rods but replaced the bolts with ARP items. Doesn't mean the rods were no good or not up to the job, just meant that you could make them alot stronger by repalcing the possible weak point. Kind of the same thing here, I reckon.
  15. true there has to be compromise, but alot of the roads up here are faaaar from a race track.......so a track-like spring is not a good idea IMO, but I get what yr saying. I have Tein super streets in my ST185 and pretty sure they're alot stiffer than those for the R33, maybe more towards the 8/6? And I absolutely love em in that car....it does bounce over bumps alot but that's kinda fun in an all wheel drive car, however not what I'm after in this case. Would be after something a little more road-holding for the R33, I think most likely the 6/4 type rate.....anyone who's used these, would love to hear your thoughts. Munkyboy, thanks for your thoughts on this. Do you get much roll with the 4/4 spring rate, and do you think the front would respond well with the stiffening to a 6kg spring? Seems like most kits have a stiffer front spring and thinking there must be a reason for this...?
  16. As topic says, bought a set of adjustable cam gears and only need 1 for the exhaust side, so have the other one to sell. It is a brand new item. I believe they fit most or all rb engines but can only guarantee it fits rb25, up to you to check it out first. These are a Tomei-style cam gear, appear very solid and very well machined. outer part is steel and inner is aluminium. Located in Cairns 4870 but can post anywhere at buyers expensivity. Pics I'm keeping the red one lol you can see the steel centre section and aluminium adjustment section are both fairly thick and look pretty sturdy. After $60 plus post for this one. Feel free to PM me with any other questions about it, thanks.
  17. ok so they turned up in the mail today. I was very impressed. Machining looks great, nice finish, steel outer edge is very solid and thick in the centre section where the inner bolts into, inner alum section is thick enough where it is held on by adjustment bolts (which is the part I was most concerned about), no dags or rough edges anywhere. Bolts looked fine but if there was a weak point, they would appear to be it so will pick up some stronger ones tomorrow. They came as a set of two so if anyone wants the other one, I am putting it in the for sale section, along with some pics if anyone else just wants to check out the construction of them.
  18. yeah I have heard that about 8/6 for street. Was thinking 6/4 like in the other guy's current thread about coilover springs, does that then become too soft at the rear though? Maybe 6/5 instead? or is it better to keep the 2kg difference front to rear?
  19. so just a quick one, with regards to measuring the spring rate between your conventional stock type springs and aftermarket coilover springs, is an 8kg spring measured the same in both kinds? Reason I ask is when I was asking a certain company about the 8/6 rates on their coilovers and how much harder that was than the stock 3kg(?) rates, I was told "yeah but you can't compare spring rates between the 2". Sorry for the noob question but if any ppl's have some explanation as to why, or if this is true or not, I'd love to hear. True they are different sizes/diamaeters/windings etc but if it takes 8kg to compress them a cm or mm or whatever the measurement, that would mean it takes 8kg to compress them, period, no matter what shape/size....or am I missing something? (was looking at the BC coilovers btw, with their 8/6 standard spring rate) thanks for ppl's inputs.
