  1. Good thing, but not sub 20k like Rich wants.
  2. Thanks mate What pogo sticks is she running and is the under bonnet colour factory or has it been painted race-spec silver? Will you get a chance to give her a run in anger prior to heading down? I spotted that one on MY105 and got a bit misty in the duds, would be a good, albeit mildly expensive, base car.
  3. Three people I know well have owned (near new) VW vans, and each swears they will never buy another VW product. Russ (Giant) was a forman at Mercedes working on their vans for a long while, and told be some horror stories too. Personally I think this Euro shit is ok under warranty, but you have to say bye bye before it runs out. It's a personal opinion, fan boys need not retaliate
  4. Considered a Territory?
  5. I think you need to rub one out. wait until you get home though, don't do it at your desk again. You remember the stirr that caused last time.
  6. Me too. Finger bang finger bang!
  7. Have you been on a course of steroids Timmy? You seem very angry.
  8. Shit, that sounds juicy! Who ya with? ***aaaarr-choo*** Sllllaart ***
  9. Yeah that ^^^^ could have ended up SO much worse than it did! funny how Mum's body is so much better than the daughter's too huh.... Kojak biting the big one cracks me. I know I shouldn't laugh, but hey.... they all survived
  10. Anytime..... Given its marine-themed it'll go down well on the MV Blaise of Glory. (not the only thing that should go down well on board either... beer, kabana n cheese, wimminz....)
  11. ^^^ Good points. Just steer well clear of any lifted live front axle (WG/WJ) Grand Cherokees. What happens to the geometry when they're even mildly lifted turns them into a widow maker. Many people love the diesels versions, however if memory serves the later versions of the VM are the best? As JZP says, HEAPS of info on AusJeepOffRoad forum to educate yourself. If you get a "good one", they are good. Too many mates have had a good run from them for the haterz to get any ground here.
  12. You're in the Frog-mobile I assume Timmy K?
  13. Update big guy? Some pics? Something..... anything!!!!
  14. Put a horn on a jellyfish that would
  15. It's starting to hot up a bit isn't it. I had a strange feeling this morning reading that. I thought, hmmmm, I understand the COTF and how they're built, but maybe, juuuuust maybe, new engines and a refreshed fan demographic might just turn me into a fan after 20 years of hate. I really hope so, if only for selfish reasons
  16. Be not driven one any distance mate. I can't help feel you'd be better served by a slightly older Tdi Pajero. Seats in those are good, and they're very adjustable to suit a tall guy like you.
  17. I actually just need to dig the turbo out and have it rebuilt. It shat itself when I was running the rebuild engine in. like, 18 months ago. I recall the EVO magazine guys ran one just like you describe. They called it Dogzilla
  18. Come finish my 32 and take it driving somewhere to ease your pain. You'll need to bring a shovel to clear the layers of dust off it.
  19. Rich, they're not putrid, rancid crap, but they're far from a class leader, and quite awful to drive. Maybe slip into one at a dealer and try before considering further.
  20. Ah my bad. My TV had recorded it so I could watch it in my customary fast forward. I've been away for a few weeks, thought EC was only a coupla weeks back? Another excuse is I don't follow V8SC anymore, wasn't aware of the tyre spec changes. So my apologies folks. So, new tyre worth 2-odd seconds a lap? How does the new rubber compare elsewhere? No need to answer really if you're as disinterested as I.
  21. I'm suprised there's no yapping about the times posted by the V8's at EC over the weekend? Wasn't everyone keenly waiting for the lap time of a V8SC to see how the track had changed since the alterations? I personally was suprised to learn the run to turn 6 had been shortened by, if I recall correctly from Cromly, 20 metres?!?!
  22. I'll be there! But in an "official" role rather than competitive. Love this event!
  23. Epic. Work vehicles that run like cabs stand a better chance. Mums taxis and weekend warrior versions stand a much slimmer chance.
  24. There's a guy who regularly punts one around Lakeside very respectfully. "**+^^~* Locksmiths" on the side.... Haha They're quite light comparatively and seem to handle well :$
