  1. Current high tech high pressure diesels WON'T go forever.... they're far too succeptable to failures from fuel contamination, filter failures, or a million electrical failures.
  2. Heading up to Monza tomorrow (in Nice now after doing AGS F1 today - AWESOME!!!!) Looking forward to my first f1 race attendance!
  3. Surely you jest.
  4. The TT is an amazing event.
  5. No, I can't recall either. Certainly none in recent times.
  6. Well, if nothing else it's a great opportunity to tidy everything up and change those little things most of us would if starting from scratch
  7. You'll need to do any work on it during the week, because as summer rolls around your weekends will be packed full of enjoying your new boat I hope!
  8. Yep, the whole idea of speed limits in this sport is riddled with faggotry. I'll never support it. If ya scared, just say ya scared...... and maybe have a little lift off the gas.
  9. Chatting to both Mark and Russ they had nothing but praise for your new controller. Really sounds the goods Paul, well done!
  10. See, I look at that and say ,"meh". I've sold it now so can't be accused of being one eyed. But my hemi powered Jeep grand Cherokee Ltd averaged 19 bris-Townsville and return towing my race car n all gear...... and really was a superb tow vehicle. Loped along on cruise, seldom needed to kick down, and even downshifted automatically down hills to maintain speed. And it'd run low 14's on the quarter even on 22's. And it sounded tough and was a pleasure to drive. Bloody reliable too once I sorted a few issues within the warranty ( but I'm damn fussy). Good thing!
  11. Viper dude not even listening. I've done that. haha, thankfully sans trees!
  12. Listen to this man, ,because for once, he's talking sense
  13. The idea of a worldwide set of rules was kinda ruined by the yanks adopting the use of slick Tyres. For many of us the main factor in this event is the use of R comp rubber.
  14. Good spotto! Some very angry, ummm, .......... Ace's?
  15. Good work Timmy!!!! Hip hip Hooray, got the monkey off your back! Great effort boys
  16. I've got Just Jap ones as small as 15mm.....
  17. Heard Eric's GTR has arrived! Only issue is it was mistakingly sent to China! They're desperately trying to free it from Chinese customs to get it on a plane.... what a cluster ferk from the shipping agent!
  18. Agreed...... If it's wet, it's a tradjedy!
  19. Just another reason that GTR's suck. They're over 2k on a trailer. Nearly 3k if you carry enough engine oil to keep the shitbox full for a day's sprint......
  20. All are far too gay to tow 2 tonnes with. In fact, I think you'd be better off with a Falcon than any of those AIDS ridden things.
  21. It's quite simple. No rescheduling is required. If a Club entrant is found to have modifications that should see it in Open, it's merely re-categorized and see it logged as an Open car. No need to run it in Open sessions. The competitor should get a short grace period to allow modifying the car back to Club rules. If they cannot do so, they would be free to obtain and run semi-slicks as it is now an Open car. However, if the competitor has deliberately misrepresented their entry as Club level in the hope of obtain a "default" Open Class entry, they're excluded from the event. That's how I see it anyhoo.
  22. Try Otto Instruments at Salisbury. I've bought VDO from him before.
  23. I'd gladly give some time to be a judge of eligibility and safety going forward. I do thinks it's important for the event. As someone said, many Club cars are beyond legality that I've seen this year.
  24. Ouch Chris! That's no good at all mate, sorry to see that! Glad you're both mostly ok.
