  1. I have stock 20 box, and I assume stock gears (4:3?). Yours looks a lot like 32GTR gearing, so maybe 4:11. There's no doubt your thing looks to have some serious stonk Shame about the pesky injector 1:1 4th gear at approx 7,800 rpm shift I get 190klm/h. http://www.youtube.com/user/BennyTheWoo?feature=mhee#p/u/15/M9L49eCE7RU
  2. I just checked mine Roy. My shoulder is maybe 1 centimetre higher than the lowest part of the harness hole statically. Once I strap in I'm squashed into the seat base cushion and the top of my shoulder would be 1 to 2cm BELOW the harness hole. Feels bloody prefect and allows me to strap in real tight without feeling like I'm compressing my spine. So basically, as I tighten the shoulder straps it's pushing me down into the cushion a bit, and also pulling my shoulders back into the backrest. (keeping in mind that the lap belts should be TIGHT and low across your hips, and should be adjusted and tightened first)
  3. Geebuz Benny that's rotten news buddy! WTF happened? And yeah, if that speed is reading true, you've got an outright contendeer there! The gearing is way different to mine too. I'm going to assume there's a technical setup glitch there somewhere?
  4. Yeah the transaxle is by Albins Off Road. I know of a certain Aussie Superlap/time attack car eagerly awaiting the chance to swap the current Hollinger S6 for a new Albins Transaxle. There'll be a plethora of Hollingers available once to COTF launches..... one would assume. Shame the V8SC version isn't really suitable for most of us.
  5. Do they have to make them all cum?
  6. Thanks Guys, I think I'll leave it where it is then.
  7. Would you suggest a change Duncan if I had any possible future aspirations to door to door it if a series presented itself?
  8. I wholeheartedly agree. As an aside, for everyone who's predicting a Subaru AWD version, I wouldn't hold your breath! Anyone with knowledge of the physical layout of Subaru's AWD system would suspect as I do that the engine in this RWD car is simply placed too far back in the chasssis to make an AWD version achievable.
  9. Mine appears to be booked as 2ASCC.... Anyone know what that is?
  10. Ahh ok choice bro!
  11. Wait, what?!?! Am meant to be updating my car's CAMS log book?!????!?
  12. Okay okay fark sake stop quoting me! I think I've ascertained y'all want to chow down on his great ropes of choad. Fargern serious man-crushes!
  13. You've got farkin hairy fingers Richmond.
  14. Very true, the picture quality is awesome, but the sound is truly appalling. I actually wonder how anyone could have signed that off prior to production with a "yep, that's done finished".
  15. Ouchy wah wah!!!! Not sure if I could think of anything more embarrassing!
  16. I guess I'm just suggesting not to have a GTR as your one and only car, and really, not as a daily. Smarter guys than me agree with this, and although they can afford much more expensive cars, they elect to run a 32 or 33 GTR and have a nice reliable daily. Eg, a 20k 32 GTR and a low klm Mazda MPS daily. (the even smarter ones avoid GTR's and run GTS-t's ) Talk to your accountant too. And take note of their face when you tell them you're looking at burning 50k plus in cash (ie all your savings) on a 10 year old car.
  17. Why don't I understand the fascination with Kimi? Anyone care to explain? Yes I know he's a former world Champ, but he's been out for a long time. I'd welcome him back, but honestly, rather than see him arrogantly step straight into a top ride, I'd like to see him in something mid pack, say, a Mercedes GP or Force India. If he's the God so many think he is, then prove it in that car, THEN, step into a front runner.
  18. Ten..... TEN entrants!?!?!?!?! And yep, very true Timmy. Tim Hendy got the 34 going obviously?
  19. I say NO. I've not read everyone else's replies so will just give you my own opinion. For someone like yourself I say no to 34 GTR (in fact any GTR) because your priorities really should be elsewhere. I know it sounds like an old man talking, but if you've saved 50 odd in cash, well, DO NOT SPEND IT ON A BLOODY GTR! Any GTR costs more than you can ever expect to own. It's not just if and when something goes wrong, (especially if you're PAYING to repair it! GTR tax!!!), but even keeping a GTR in tip top condition as they should be costs big money. I can't even imagine daily driving one, not so much for the cash outlay, but rather the sheer worry of leaving it parked, or having someone run into it. Heck, even a stone chip on my old 34 GTR stressed me out! Talk of tracking one is ridiculous, because it will break, they all do. Leave the GTR dream for a couple of years. Set yourself up a little more, then get one! Trust me, they'll get a LOT cheaper soon! Guys will be wanting to get out of toys like it's going out of fashion..... this thing they call the GFC has a lot worse to get yet, and Aussies are far from immune!
  20. Ya vid aint workin for me Roy. Everyone should have a 32 GTS-t with RB20 Harry, it'd be only fair everyone gets the same fun
  21. There was a rally on? How many people turned up? Who placed?
  22. Sorry for the late reply, yes I do!
  23. The absolutely farking solid gold within this thread has had me thinking..... Did any corporate sponsors ever jump at the proposal? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/363352-sponsor-wanted/page__p__5808988__fromsearch__1#entry5808988
  24. Exactly. if the compression was ok the cam timing or something must have been off.
