  1. When I watched the first video of the circuit I thought to self, "that corner is prime for a big cut".... and there ya go, the fast guys cut it. It can only be expected the fast competitors would cut it, because every other fast guy would cut it, so yeah, you have to cut it! lol It should have had a barrier or tyre post there really.....
  2. Berry's thing doesn't utilize it's front towers either. Nothing new there.....
  3. I'd love to see some fottage when it becomes available! Well done to all who competed
  4. Ok I tried, I really did. But by turn three, I'd fallen asleep. Sorry Brah!
  5. ^^^^^^ truth Manly die f**kers kunts! Lol , subliminal message courtesy of Woo
  6. lol @ i want to have Love with you.....
  7. I told ya, I'm comin! Real world can garn get farked.
  8. nah mate, come on, they're good things! The engines were cast and assembled by Mercury Marine using then-new lost-foam technology. I'd LOVE one! (although I'd throw up every time I got in it, the interior is awful).
  9. nah dont do that! Just go here...... http://biertijd.com/ and scroll down. Seriously good site, good pics, good stories, its a good "man-site"
  10. So, cruising through my new favourite website last night, stumble across Briz hosting a car a car show. If only I could understand you mate, I reckon it's very entertaining Just quietly, the rest of the site is bloody good too! (check out the sweet nubile girls they find ) http://biertijd.com/mediaplayer/?itemid=30234
  11. See, there ya go, my experiences with A050's is different, we've found them faster at 32 hot, the Japanese Yoki guy suggested the same. BUT, road rallying is completely different to circuit, and additionally, what works on a 1600kg GTR may well be diiferent to a 1400kg GTR.
  12. Mornin I still feel the O3G is a great tarmac and sprint tyre. The choice at the moment really is only between the Dunlop and Yoki Advan A050 (although, I'd love to do some real testing of the Federal FZ01 is I had a budget!). THE Dunlop to choose for a GTR is the "R", which sounds like you've used. Not quite sure why you tore them up so badly, maybe someone familiar with the roads in WA can shed some light there? (1,300 Competetive kays is pretty bloody good though!) With the event (Big Targa) now allowing you use 6 tyres instead of just the 4, the tyre issue is much less now, so, even treated a little harshly, O3G R's will get through no worries. As you say, managing them is the key, and there's a heap of guys (some are even quick! ) within this forum section who are willing to share their experiences. You're welcome to PM me for my ph # if ya want to yap when you're back from getting "massaged" in whatever Asian country it is you're visiting......
  13. For you it's all about catch cans and how the fark can I get my oil under control!
  14. Grrrrr double post WHORE!
  15. The NSX was a game-changer. It forced the likes of Ferrari to actually consider delivering a decent vehicle rather than the mostly appalling crap that had to date. It was a special period for Jap cars, the Lexus was born, the GTR re-wrote rules, and the NSX made a Supercar usable daily and reliably. And don't discount the NSX as a Supercar, on it's day it most definitely was, despite only packing a V6.
  16. Ummmmm so I just re read your first post. You're talking 150k on a roller before you somehow retain awd and stick a V8 a Gtr, then next breath talking about a bloody pulsar gtir?!?! Ahhhhh, budget?
  17. They've done it for so long because it's proven to make good power and torque for the weight. And weight, my good man, is 90% of making a good race car
  18. Buy an American GT car as a roller, something like the RX8's that run in the series over there. Slot in either a 20B turbo, or a late alloy chev (I'd chose the 7 litre, add no turbos) depending on your personal slant, and enjoy Hollinger S6 'box would be the go, and it'd be pretty cheap to campaign, with good suspension architecture.
  19. Really! lol. Ok I would have thought that for someone concerned about the cost of rubber, and therefore, looking after them as best you could, checking pressures often would be a given....... I know I absolutely try to get the most from tyre's life, coz they're farking expensive! I check my tyre pressures more than look at my temp or fuel gauge, because a set of rubber is dearer than a new engine
  20. Yeah I understand that, BUT..... Set them cold approx 5psi less than your hot temp. Go out for your first session, heat them and do some laps but don't over-cook them. Come back into the pits, bleed them back to your desired hot pressure. Then simply check pressures at the end of each session just to make mild adjustments as you see fit. I don't use pyros mate, I'm not altering camber etc at the track When I ask folks what pressures they're running, and they reply with "xx psi COLD", I slowly back away. lol
  21. I reckon if I had seen said Type-R, I woulda bought it (assuming it wasn't a roughy). I wouldn't buy a 348, even if it were a superb example...... they're simply a bucket of bolts.
  22. Kinda read the thread, scanned over Zebra's sandy-vag posts when he started jibber-jabber about rotten 348 Fezzas The NSX is a good thing, and a great thing in 3.2 litre form. I've driven a 3 litre in auto and manual, and passengered in a 3.2 manual. The auto was truly appalling, and the factory tuned them for less power (like an RX8) 180KW was the auto number from memory, with 205KW for the manual in 3 litre form. The auto really was a farken marshmellow. My theory is many rich blokes bought their wives one to look sporty and sexy, but drive easily. I'd LOVE a Type R of any vintage, later the better though. It would need to be a truly special R34 GTR to make me choose the GTR is the price were similar. It's not ALWAYS about outright grunt you heathens!
