  1. Weeks is no slouch mate, and folks in the know reckon those front running old Porsches owe half a million plus.........
  2. Well if I were spending around 5 to 6k I would personally elect to buy a non gal Aussie steel trailer with some nice options. That will outlast a gal china steel trailer. I see little point in speccing up a china trailer. They're cheap, and they're value Because they're cheap. That's just me though.
  3. Defs in the ball-park mate, very nice time for a newby!
  4. Slack. And spill it... what was your lap time!?!?! yes, I think I've done 3 screens in as many years thanks to Lakeside. Thanksfully I get two uses out of my China intercooler, the shape allows me to flip it Yes the screens are nice, i have two here, I'll wait to fit one when my current near new screen is buggered. Follow Harry (HRDhr30) for one lap should sort that King of cut that bloke
  5. Just perusing the results after stage 4 complete, and wih all due respect (very easy to say this from my office chair!), it really doesn't look very competetive up the front? I see a few names mixed in up the front that, well, you wouldn't "expect" to see there in other rallies.
  6. Nothing really. The old turbo finally shat itself during the run-in, and I'm still awaiting the rebuilt replacement.
  7. So, it's on again! Was a really great event last year. I won't be running (engine), nor will Berry be back with the 32 (engine), but I know Coop is bringing his awesome 32GTR down from Townsville. Anyone else planning on coming? It's next weekend!
  8. You went to Lakeside..... and you didn't tell me!?!?!?!?!
  9. Pic 1, air purifier/pollen filter die for replacement ;creating a vacuum). Pic 2, yeah ice area cars are commonly optioned with the wiper area heater.
  10. I'll vouch for Jono, he's one of my oldest friends, top bloke. Anyone wanting genuine coils better grab them up! It's a bargain!
  11. Yes Ben, Steve's full hectic R32...... note though that the Cat 7 cars won't be listed in the results or mentioned..... they're there to make up the numbers
  12. Gosh, I just read the press release, this stuff makes me shiver; From the WA prologue winner, Tolley Challis; “I’m a bit underdone because we probably didn’t spend long enough on the reconnaissance, but the plan for tomorrow is to go flat out and try to stay at the top of the leaderboard.” Regardless, I hope all competitors and crews in attendance have a ball!
  13. No, Closey was, but he had to rebuild it (and invest a bit much) first. Quinn is running the Just Jap R32 GTR....
  14. Without your prompt I just looked at the Prologue results..... I'm interested to see the course layout, Quinny in a hot 32 GTR only matching a TR7 V8? Admittedly there's a lot of names in the list I don't recognize. Many Adelaide hills specialists I'd venture to say.
  15. I did shed a tear...... but only because I really wanted a fitty buck note for it Had a mint factory windscreen in it too. Well, until I broke it trying to remove it. haha
  16. I got rid of a 32 GTR today..... straight to scrap baby! I got $32.25 for it... goodbye BNR32-014943
  17. Thank the son of rajab for the FF button. Apart from a bit of dicing and serious brain farts early in the race, it was boring, as per usual for Monza.
  18. Yeah 5 years last Thursday I think?
  19. Oodles of grunt, and plenty of carbon too. The thing was/is a weapon. I still couldn't help but think it could be driven MUCH quicker though.....
  20. Was this question prompted by the latest Unique Cars mag? Reading the story on that lady racer Porsche and how her and hubby won the "Australian Tarmac Championship", aka, The Dutton Rally/Pissup. I've "competed" in that, a bigger misnomer would be hard to find! haha
  21. Very I checked mine this morning.... mine is subtely different. Anyway, GLWTS.
  22. Ahhhh-HUH! So that's what it is! I have one, never worked out who made it. Can vouch for it's effectiveness. These wings actually do work.
