  1. Ahhh, very nice, congrats on the purchase Paul
  2. Looks wicked Russ!
  3. Well, congratulations mate! If you own that car, I would suggest it's likely the most collectable road going version available! I'll find out the article dates for you this weekend
  4. Yep, that what I was trying to explain earlier.
  5. Here's pics of two Wheels Mags I took last night. I also have the article with Richards comparing the race car to a black road car too. Can dig that out if you like? Not sure if the black roady was Jim's, the Bathurst pace car, or another privately owned car. From memory, the black and white Vic number plate started with "KB", so I'm thinking it could well have been Kevin Bartlett's. I'm not sure if this red one pictured is the same car in both images? The pic with a trade plate was the first Aussie test (with handling comparo between other supercars of the time), the second, with full rego number plate, is the top speed comparo at Lang Lang with Crompton driving.
  6. The rules didn't require that. Remember there was M3's and Sierras running too! Lol The original press car was red. If it was actually written off, I dunno. At $110k back then it took a LOT to write one off!
  7. You've got a red one listed as heavily modded by sub zero, that car was ON BAIL, qld plates on gold 18" BBS Lm's. Yet there's a silver one on nsw same plates and wheels? Confusion reigns supreme!
  8. Yep, which will get it so close to Just Jap it don't matter......
  9. The yanks were dribbling that shit in the replies on the Fernandez ute. They thought it was a truck, like an F150
  10. Just so ya know, genuine ones seem much more durable. (Nissan, not Nismo, they're drug money) Could be important for folks who have wheels on and off a lot.
  11. I bought some new EBay coil unders. New tech apparently, stolen by a spy in somewhere called the Trabant factory. Hopefully here next week!
  12. Lolzzzzz bitchy lot But serial, Baron's right again. On a 26, -10's, yeah no.
  13. Just weld the snout up and carefully file back the flats. Weld it carefully for less filing and it'll take an hour start to finish. Careful not to damage the sealing surface.
  14. Bump!
  15. Yes that's correct. Fairly off the chain and very tidy.
  16. There is a one owner silver one near me. I don't know of it's still registered, the car doesn't get driven anymore. I've known the car since it was brand new, I was a second year apprentice way back then! Lol
  17. Rego was/is ON BAIL Had 18" BBS Lm's
  18. Yeah won't be an issue I don't think. All the guys who run pop-up lights type cars, RX7's etc, all seem to keep them closed or removed altogether and run little spots instead.
  19. Did that to my 32. Ended up pretty light.
  20. I'm a "blue man" myself Munro, looks superb mate. I'm so pleased they seem to have finally got the 35 where they probably really wanted it to begin with, but of course they need to keep some things from original release so they can improve I read there's no issues with warranty and launching now.... is this just due to a software change that disallows it or have they actually improved the 'box strength do you know?
  21. Looks to be a very decompressed chamber to me......
  22. Forum member 'Giant" is wishing to sell his black JDM, it is a caged car with forged engine, upgraded box, consult, everything though. Probably not what you're looking for if you're cross shopping with the Haitch eSs Vees though I dare say.
  23. Sorry to hear they were stolen, glad they were insured! I wouldn't want them back though, new for old replacement would be my preference! Once a performance car has been stolen, you don't want it back. It's like a girlfriend.... if someone else drives it, it's gotta go and stay gone.
