Ha ha ha... It's going on a 355 twin turbo, so was checking out how you guys with the skylines run things with set ups and what not, seeing as though Nissan have been playing with forced induction for like.....forever!

Yeah, anything over $1000 has import GST on it. The usual 10%. You normally pay import duty too on all imports over $1000, but if the item bought from the US is made there, then there is no duty. Food for thought!

Ha ha ha.... Didn't even realise I wrote turbine side, would be funny to see though.... Would last all of one second before it went up in flames! Suppose K&N is the way to go.... anyone try other brands? Cheers!

Hey Guys, Just curious as to what brand of air filters you guys run on the Garrett GT3076R turbos, or any GT 30 Series Turbo for that matter... I am just finishing up an upgrade to a set of these, and just in the process of finding a set of air filters that will fit on to the front of the turbine housing. Was speaking to K&N but they reckon they dont make any filters with a wide enough mouth to fit over the front of the turbo.... but im sure I have seen them fitted before. Any ways over to you guys, what type do you have fitted to your turbos and any recommendations? Thanks!

Guys, The 45V2 -VG30 turbo has the OP6 casting on the rear exhaust housing. Someone must be interested? These are a higher flowing VG30 housing than normal. Anyone?

The wategate brackets have been modified to suit the engine I was driving in. I have checked out the turbos and they have two different marking on the compressor wheel. 45v2 and 45v4. 16 V* is Rb20 45 V1 is Vg30 BB 45 V2 is Vg30 BB from auto leopard 45 V3 is Vg30 BB 45 V4 is Rb25 BB Any questions, happy to help.

Here are some more pics of the rear exhaust housing... In all honestly im not too sure which model VG30 they are, as I did not buy them at the time. My mechanic at the time got them for me and selected them to be used to run in a new holden motor. If anyone knows the markings on the rear of the turbine housing / exhaust housing between the two models, im happy to go searching. Thanks!
