The fork pivot ball can sometimes snap away from the lower threaded section, pressure from the fork ensures that the two pieces will never separate and the squeaking comes from the two halves on some occasions. I was told this by the owner of a performance workshop and when I questioned the validity of the information, he opened the drawer of his desk to reveal 5 new threaded pivots waiting for cars with this complaint. Apparantly the part costs stuff all and is the same for both 31's and 32's. 33's I'm not sure on but I think he told me they were all the same aswell.

You checked the AAC valve, or you cleaned the AAc valve? Every time I get this problem, carby cleaner in the AAC valve then put it back on, perfect! Make sure you dont rip the gasket. Or it'll be going on metal to metal like mine is. I am sooo lazy!

I agree with you. How on earth can a car company make any money from something that they cannot supply you? In my opinion, grey imports have done more for Nissan's image as a high performance brand than any GTR Bathurst victory! We are a nation of V8 people.
