what about some big chunky SSR SP1's as seen here
volk GT-C's as seen here
some work meister S1's as found here
racing hart CP-035R's they weigh nothing as well right here
alternatively check THIS out i know it's only for model's but it give's you a fair idea of jap VIP/deep dish styled rims
i heard they are fairly firm, but not noticably more than any other jap brand, but that aside they are supposed to be one of the better brands over there especially if you have a little bit of track work in mind
I had Advan neova AD06's on my old soarer and they held on damn well until they were past there used by date... N-1 Distribution sells them in victoria but the prices are just plain silly unless you want to pay 3-4K for rubber
yeah it cracked me up, a friend was driving and gave it a squirt and just as she was backing off we here this chiming sound lol
"warning warning if caught please bend over"

It's a very straight, very clean GTR and in awesome conditions considering it's age. It drives very smoothly with no rattles or funny noises. It handles like it's on rails and goes as well as is expected of a stocker with a cat back. It's got 35 000kms since the speedo was changed but from wear and tear looks to have closer to 150 000 ish. It's got 11 months nsw rego and has been hardly been driven since purchased.
Pics are here http://www.pbase.com/whoneeds_therapy/inbox
Asking 26K Negotiable
My email is [email protected] if there is any queries
Cheers,
Luke
The trust kit is like a big square bucket in shape that comes with it's own baffles and pick up to suit. The idea is to cut the bottom off your sump and weld it on. I've seen a few done and in the end i personally feel it's not really worth the effort for the extra 1L (apparently) of oil. A few people i've talked to as well as myself found by the time it was properly attached it only added about 500-700mls capacity all up.
Also it can create ground clearance issues as it does sit fairly low and the last thing you want to do at speed is take your sump off.
89 32 GTR, cleanish stocker with 18x8.5 avs model 5's, some unknown brand of strut's & springs combo, nismo & greddy strut braces, hks filters and a big arse boost leak courtesy of a few bolts missing on the intercooler piping
Definately better off in the why bother thread me thinks... If you were set on using some kind of big block you'd be better off going for a VH45DE, 4.5L nissan V8 used in some of the infinity models, and i think in the nissan president, as well as destroked to 3.5L to be used in the R390 Le Mans Car
